Never EVER run a program which is not from a trusted source! If there is a new program out, it is either from someone you trust, or wait till you see reports about it.
The terbot.0catch.com site was mentioned only in my ng (best of my knowledge) where you'd see an immediate response from several ppl that it is a backdoor trojan.
The webpage explicitly explains it is not the original program from the author (which indeed was a nice bot!) but an upload by a script kiddie.

Search operation unearthed the haggard, bearded fugitive taking shelter in a mud hole, camouflaged with bricks and dirt.
The former Iraqi president was in a "spider hole," about two to two-and-a-half meters (six to eight feet) deep with a ventilation pipe to enable him to breathe.

Hmmm - I don't recall mud and spiders in Hole :)

According to your email provider you violate their Accepable Use Policy:
You may not attempt to "flood" or disrupt
Usenet newsgroups. Disruption is defined as
posting a large number of messages to a
newsgroup which contain no substantive
content, to the extent that normal discussion in
the group is significantly hindered.
Any more attempt to post bull** or crosspost to irrelevant groups on behalf of you will be reported to your ISP (shawcable.net and home.com) resulting your internet service disconnection.

P.S. - I ask everyone who is offended by his posts file a complaint to abuse at home.net .
P.P.S - maybe my grammar is not the best in this post either - so sorry in advance.

He tried to fix the gap/seam bug when AW3 was released (despite his claim that it also happened in AW 2.2 because I NEVER noticed it before AW3) by adding even smaller object movement increments, but that's a quick-fix for a deeper bug: bad math. Incorrect floating point calculations also account for jerky avatar turning and movement (the latter of which can be easily noticed at high coordinates like in AlphaWorld).

My 10 million dollar question:
Since when is it your or Eep's business ?
Do you ask your ISP or Yahoo or AltaVista if they are down what was the problem?
Do you get detailed answers?
Do you ask your cable TV operator what was wrong when they have interruption in their services?
c'mon folks - it's only lame excuse by a lame eep.

Remember how many ppl objected about your website background color? I bet you do. Do you remember your response to their complaint? I bet you don't. You said it is MY website! I like it as it is! Don't even ask me to change it! <of course not so politely than I interpreted here>. You are not even a small company yet you still just brushed off all those ppl. You would have even a higher obligation to answer to those question if I read your comparison correctly. Why do you think ANYONE would give you an explanation about a simple ng maintenance issue? Your reply is even more lame than my confusion :)

Because AW is a VERY small company relative to any of these, they have an obligation to offer more personal customer/tech support. I asked Facter a simple question yet it took a good beating for him to finally spit out the full response. He needs better training in SUPPORT, which IS one of his jobs. Perhaps he has too MANY jobs at AWCI and he should just focus on one.

I'm using ZAP (the pay version of ZA) with not a single hickup since about october. I run worlds behind it, several browsers (old and new versions) , I do updates. You name it :)
IMO it is doing its job just perfectly. I know how to set it up, played a lot with it and uninstalled twice - just to test the uninstall - without any problem.
W2K, NT4.0 and W95 (I never had 98 nor ME).

I propose to use Logitech MarbleMan - it doesn't uses any moving parts inside but an optical ball. No mousepad required either. I clean it only when I feel the ball is not running freely but even than the pointer moves nicely on the screen.
Of course you have to used to use <hmmm - is that a correct grammar?> a trackball :)

Slight corrections:
1, Use your vac to such the debris out of the mouse
2, DON'T use water/solvents but pure alcohol (rubbing alcohol is fine) to clean the tiny cylinders :)
