I reformatted, And got a HARD jolt back to reality and because of it i would
like to take a poll.....

How many people actualy REGISTER WinZip?
1. Never have
2. Paid the 30$
3. Cracked =)

I mean hey you just lie and click "I Agree" and it lets you do whatever, and its not worth the risk
to crack lol

Why pay $30 or risk prosecution to remove a button?

Winzip is just a decompression agent right? There's plently of free full
version ones on the web so there's not much point.

2. Paid for it.
Even then I wrote my own one (see http://andras.net/tools.html ) I know the work developer put behind it and IMO it is not fair to tkae their well earned money away.

Maybe I'm too naive?

If it's shareware, I paid for it.
If it's commercial, I paid for it.
I don't believe in hacked/cracked programs or shareware not paid for.
Like Andras, I can appreciate the effort that goes into creating a product and
pay for what I use.

I agree with most of that...some software developers do ask for more than
what a program is worth tho.I would say 70% of the software I use is
registered the honest way(paying).

I'm with you Irish. Right now i'm 100% honest except for one proggy which is *ridiculously* overpriced. NO NAMES! They could make a
good profit selling it for, say, $200 -- especially since a lotta people (including me) would buy it at that price instead of using
a crack. NO NAMES!

Oops -- I just remember I got a cracked XXX6 'cause I paid for XXX5 and the snots wouldn't upgrade me since I missed the deadline by
a couple of days.
