Dashtown by Berdasha though they sorta keep to themselves heh
Horizon City too I think. I see ol' sirqus every now and then.
R-Town is still alive though? I thought it "passed away" years ago.

Have the coords to a few in my list...
R-Town - 2159N 1536W
Horizon City - 7000S 14000E
Dashtown - 31614S 26149E 0.23a
SW City - 2217.4S 3609E though our website www.swcity.net is more
informative than the GZ is.

I was recently questioned on how some events in Sharman Caves Adventure
worked, so I wrote up this AAA guide to explain the concepts behind the
code. Perhaps you or someone you know may find this useful.

Ah your right, astop is the default command. I overlooked that, thanks for
pointing that out.
As for using "."...*shrug* I guess browser errors should be avoided, though
I and others have been using it without problem for years now. Saves text
space at least.
I'm not sure what you mean with the quote below because I listed that
example in Method 2. Method 1 is slightly simplified though, as it doesn't
require gears starting the next one in the sequence, since it fully relies
on the delay.
Aside from using unneeded "astops", I think saying it was wrong and
misleading was a bit exaggerated :P

If someone managed to get AWLD's ppw, I suspect we'll have much much bigger
things to worry about than some petty vandalism at the GZ lol.
The signs you saw underground were prolly put in during a window of time
when the 112m restriction was lifted.
But this isn't really a problem though while that restriction is in place.

Yesterday I realized something - I have some moving objects with the bump
command, and, some of them require you to be moving to work, and others
don't. So today I tried creating all sorts of experiements to figure out
the difference, and only had confusing results.
I had a walk001h object on its side move north-south, and it took 8 seconds
to reach me. I'd be holding still all 8 seconds...so anyway when it touches
me I teleport somewhere. Now, this does not work at 0.0 meters altitude,
the wall just goes right through me harmlessly. However if I raise the
floor up to about .5m or so, I could be idle and it would work.
Exxxccept this does not seem to be the case at some other builds, like one
with raised floors to 4m, but it does at the experimental zone...it's real
flakey like that. Doesn't make sense >_<
So what exactly is the scenario you have to be in to get bump commands to
work when idle?
Nov 4, 2004, 12:07am
Agreed - I second that.

True that its not a large scale problem. Graphic cards are complicated,
people are bound to have problems.
In personal experience, I build systems for my business, and have used ATI
everytime up to this point without problem.
Prolly the only real problem I had with ATI was the stock cooling fan died.
Luckily the card still not got hot enough even in games to do any damage
because I got it fixed.

There's a huge different in performance.
9800 pro has higher memory and core frequeny, and an 8x1 pipeline at 256
bit.
You can softmod the 9800se to do the same if your lucky and manage to find a
256 version, but most of them are 128 bit which suck compared to the 9800
pro (I have one a 128 bit 9800SE =\).
In short, 9800 SE = 9600 speed.

According to nvidia, 156 games total have that "the way its meant to be
played" seal. A lot of it is EA, as they control so much now, nvidia has
the big bucks and got their foot in the door before ATI did. Can't say I
blame them, but it upsets me the game manufactures would ignore such a large
market especially now that ATI has a higher market share.

Ick. Hate to sidetrack your thread but that's an onboard graphic chip, by
no means a "great graphic card". It's about as bare minimum as you can get
=0 Lousy salesman...
As for your display problems...hard to suggest a whole lot with an Intel
chip. Perhaps you should try using OpenGL rendering instead. It might even
be better for your computer (seems to be for a lot of folks).

See the thread a few posts down called "off topic..."
I just made a post there, but to save you the trouble it basically points to
this: http://graphics.tomshardware.com/graphic/20041004/images/image002.gif
Its an image showing the rough performance numbers of the cards out there.
It varies from test to test (that's just one of many), but not by much, so
it gives you a general idea. Just do whatever fits your budget. Personally
I use a Radeon 9800SE. It's not on that chart but its equivalent to a
Radeon 9600 Pro. It runs AW plenty fast.
If you don't have a problem buying over the internet I recommend
www.newegg.com

Unless they give her a compensation discount for the salesman practically
lieing, a computer with a real graphic card is going to cost more...a lot
more considering it's retail and assembled. Get a price check of a new
graphic card you want to buy, and whatever the difference is in the price of
the new computer they offer you. They aren't hard to install. You can find
do-it-yourself instructions all over the place, some in video format even.
