Yes, you might want to slow it down a bit, it's extremely fast on my PC,

Yeah, if you ask me (no-one is I realise that...) AW should be the most
clean, and up-to-date world if you think about it considering that it is
AWI's main (can't think of the word) world...

According to Norton:
Trojan Horse
A program that neither replicates nor copies itself, but causes damage or
compromises the security of the computer. Typically, an individual emails a
Trojan Horse to you-it does not email itself-and it may arrive in the form
of a joke program or software of some sort.
"JS.Fortnight.D exploits a Microsoft VM vulnerability using IFRAME tags,
with the SRC field set to the address of the Trojan's creator. After a
series of redirections, an encoded JavaScript will load an applet containing
the exploit. On unpatched systems, various registry keys and Web browser
settings will be modified.
"
It "exploits a microsoft program, and changes registry keys and browser
settings" which apparently "compromises the security of the computer"
::shrugs::.

I've been talking to a couple of people and we're having problems submitting
the forms... using our e-mail reader is rediculous in the first place, but
the fact that you're allowing people to just e-mail in the information
defeats the purpose of us sending through a pop3 e-mail address. Submission
by e-mail is not good because anyone can spoof headers and from addresses
and mass mail you their votes. I'd suggest a webpage next time which will
count and total votes for you, and than set a cookie on their computer,
store their IP, and ISP on the server and try and keep them from re-voting.
This would slightly more... un-cheatable. (I didn't say cheat proof.)
Or we need to talk AW into giving you some space on their webserver and we
cast votes exactly like we do for the feature vote which would prevent any
problems (because users need passwords to vote.)

1.) First of all, the flaming is entertaining since AWI does not seem to be
keeping us entertained -- which is what we all are paying for with a raised
price for minimal content (yes some of you might not know that prices nearly
doubled for everything and tourists used to be allowed in all worlds for
free). AWI could easily implement half of the stuff we are talking about in
the newsgroups. Get some serious testers, and at least one serious coder. I
know someone (he's in college) who is building a program similar to
activeworlds, (just a different engine) and it's already got every feature
AW has, and even more. Particles, physics, etc. Can we at least move this
topic over to Andras' ng under OffTopic.Flames as not to disrupt the
community ^_^.
2.) Second of all, "show your true colors" heh? Who's the one that made
everyone think he/it was a she and even virtually married a man. What's up
with that? Who's showing there true colors. It took you a couple of years
apparently. I don't think you have a right to tell people to 'show their
true colors'. Especially when I've seen how you've spoken to some people.
Don't get me wrong, your builds and ideas are excellent, but how as a
community can we trust you if you lied to us for this many years. We still
do not know if you truely are a man or not!

Agreed. Gor worlds should be private ONLY. A new world rating should be
added 'NC' which requires verification of age. R is unacceptable for worlds
like those. R is considered only 'some' adult material and 'some' language
whereas Gor worlds are 'mostly' adult material as opposed to 'some'.
Just my $69.95 worth.

wtf are you kidding? The public internet isn't a place to "make believe"
just as well as a public building. In your own private little world no-one
cares wtf you do but out in public it will not be accepted. .sharon and AS
are kinda pushing this way too far over the edge, but you're not being too
helpful either. No-one still knows who you really are since you keep
changing every 3 days.
The internet is not a tool to 'play pretend', it is a tool to interconnect
countries and share information. You think the internet was invented for
your 'imaginitive' purposes and to be someone else?
We still don't have any hardcore proof from anyone that you've done anything
illegal, so I'm still not quite on anyone's side. (Even if you've had some
fights with a couple of people, I'm guessing there are tons of other people
who have gotten into fights as well...) I wouldn't reccomend giving them
anything they can use against you. I'd reccomend not posting on here if it's
relating to these topics. Just don't answer them. Starby solutions was a
great idea, if a post doesn't have to do with that topic than do not answer
it.
