Hi everyone:

EXACT command line structure that ChrisMPEG did for his build (except for
the URL and filename of course) and it plays right on the screen for me.

Once the movie is over, the screen then turns orange with tiny lettering
(dunno what it says) and then it switches to say MOVIE SCREEN (also in an
orange background).

BTW....WHO at AWI decided to use the ORANGE to signify a media viewer in the
first place? Looks awful.

As for the screen size, a TV object wouldn't work as its too small. However
I just might try a pictwllh.rwx with a create sign command added to the
command line and see what that does. If it works, I'll leave it. If not,
I'll go back to the current xsign2.rwx I'm now using. :-)

P.S.: I'm off the table now Lightwave (I wish AWI would make avatars that
can be in all kinds of positions such as LYING DOWN. This would signify
that the user is either in bed or is otherwise AFK. Just a thought :-))

Not even my 30 MINUTE Batman flick is that big. It's only just over 9 MB.
The bitrate I use is just over the max. range of dialup (64K ISDN) since it
makes almost no sense to stream it at 128K Windows Media because the movie
is so old (as is the audio)..

My Batman movie shouldn't take that long, but near as I can tell, it plays
straight off the server I have it on.

Then too....It doesn't make much practical sense to be on AW if all you have
is a dialup anyways. :-)

Hi everyone:

Is this channel even being updated anymore or has the more current stuff all
been shifted over to the main DSTV channel?

I ask this because Ry's last newscast on DSTV 2 dates all the way back to
January, which makes the new being presented on there EIGHT MONTHS OLD (talk
about being freightningly out-of-date!).

If DSTV 2 is no longer being updated, then I see no need to have this
channel featured on the TV objects in Hamsterville which currently receive
DSTV and as such, I'll go ahead and switch them over to the main DSTV
channel.

But either way, please do advise us on the situation Ry.(or whoever is in
charge of DSTV now) as I'm sure quite a few people here would appreciate it.

And I bet if could ever find that directory that (I think) Pineriver was

WHAT is KSGTV doing showing an old version of "TrueVote", which is now on
CTV-WindStar (PTV to be more precise). There's even a small CTV watermark
in the upper left hand corner of the screen.

NO ONE provides coverage OF ANY KIND for these events EXCEPT VWTV.
Heck...The other networks don't even provide UNOFFICIAL coverage (let alone
official coverage).

I will say this much....Brock may be a pain in the ass sometimes (not to
mention an asshole) but he DID help build VWTV into the network it is today.
This is to his credit. :-)

That said though, he's gonna have a hard time trying to bring those same
events over to ABN. But what the heck...

If ABC can snatch the national broadcast rights to NBA games like they did a
couple years ago and if Fox can do the same with the rights to NFC games in
the NFL from CBS some several years before that, then I suppose ANYTHING is
possible. :-)

BTW CP....How come you quoted ME in your response below? I didn't even
mention VWTV. I'm leaving the rest of the message intact for your
reference. :-)

risk of being accused of TRAMPLING on it. But don't let that stop you as
these people are typically just full of themselves IMO).

with those TVs I left for her to sprinkle throughout the Kalifornia Hotel
Hamsterville *HINT HINT BLANKA* I left you several grams and I think even a
couple emails over a period of MONTHS on the matter. :-)).

http://www.aw-unreal.com/files/awmedias.htm even knows that YOUR SITE IS
DOWN because for the last SEVERAL DAYS, it's come back with a CANNOT FIND
SERVER error message.

If the Directory has been moved, what's the new URL?
