Hello Community, Long time no post, I've been quite busy working on several
projects and have had little time to catch up. Anyway, The reason I decided
to post this message is recent activity and propaganda have reached a height
that I am unable to contain my thoughts. I speak entirely on my own and only
represent myself. Let it also be said I am in no way spamming anything. I
recently was alerted to the existence of a website that is on the VWTV
server, http://rb.vwtv.org/awrpg/. I'm sure that after it is exposed it will
suddenly disappear, after all that's what these types of people do when they
are found out, hide. First off I believe that people are entitled to their
opinion, but to blatantly lie and hide behind religion is appalling. I am a
good Christian, and I play in a game, So?. This group represents themselves
as an unbiased source of information to AW yet they wreak of bias, and from
factual information I have obtained from various sources produce many a
hacker, or shall it be better put "script kiddies". From my extensive
experience with the AWRPG game I can tell you for sure that this entire site
is a complete lie. I'm not really here to defend that world, though I will
readily and proudly say I am on the development team there. I'm here because
for a long time now several people coming out of this group have plagued AW
with their childish immature behavior. I'm not going to make the mistake of
labeling them all, as they obviously often do, but there are definitely some
in the bunch that are over the top. In the aforementioned site, they accuse
all players of the RPG game to be satanic, and worshippers of the devil, in
addition they also compare its "evil" to "homosexual marriage". I'm not sure
of who owns this site, I've got a good idea of who owns the world, and in
addition who most likely put up the false propaganda. Maybe you aren't a big
fan of AWRPG either, and that's your choice, but what is to stop these
people from spreading lies about you or your world? My purpose for posting
this is that I feel its about time to start telling the community the truth
about the source of so much of the grief that we as users of this great
software are exposed to. I'm really fed up with it. I in the past have and
still do own several worlds, and have been the victim of the dissention in
the past that they spread through their joke of a media outlet. I appeal to
all those that have had these people involved in their projects and many
other events, to rethink including them in the future. Do we really need
this kind of behavior at all? They also on this site refer to a recent
hacking, in no way taking credit for it of course, and then imply that it is
the will of god. This is only one of many examples of the ongoing behavior
that emanates from these individuals. I have been shown a lot of other
information regarding their devious activities and am more then willing to
produce my proof of them. In ending this post, I would like to challenge
the author of this absurd website to show me any factual information that
actually can lead to the redicioulus conclusions you have come to? In
addition I also would like to remind you of your obvious religious
convictions, I would say you sir are the one who is not acting very
Christian, judge and ye shall be judged. Sorry if you don't care and you
read this anyway, but these type of activities affect us all and I felt it
necessary to make sure they don't go unnoticed by those of us here to have a
good time without the riff raff. Thank You KBM

Hello. rb.vwtv.org is my subdomain on the vwtv.org server, so all
content there belongs to me.

Perhaps it is time to come clean :¬/ I guess when the people of AWRPG
took my newest parody site seriously, I just couldn't resist watching to
see what happened.

You may remember http://rb.vwtv.org/mandeye. None of that is, of course,
my actual opinion. Neither is http://rb.vwtv.org/awrpg.

My site did not produce the "hacker" or "script kiddie" that attacked
the AWRPG forums. This was a separate event actually, and it occurred as
I was finishing my site, hence the news update.

No, for all you people who have been held in suspense, there will be no
Case Studies. Sorry.

"In ending this post, I would like to challenge the author of this
absurd website to show me any factual information that actually can lead
to the redicioulus conclusions you have come to?"

That's the point of the parody - there IS no factual information.

Seriously, I thought the little horns and "I SOLD MY SOUL TO SATAN FOR
2000 GP!!" would be enough to convince people of the non-serious nature
of the site.

well, joke or not, I take offense to being called a devil worshipper, and
I'm not saying that you or yours did the recent hacking, but in the past
well known hackers were known to frequent that world what I am saying is
that if anyone within the organization there wants to be taken seriously
then act seriously, and don't pull pranks that make you look uninformed and
host them on the server of what you represent to be a source of quality
information. I'm not being a baby. I just find it to be really rude. I don't
see how anyone with an ounce of sense can see the humor in defaming someone
else to entertain their friends. Slandering others is not the way to get
ahead. You may have in the past had differences with certain people in the
world, but I'm not one of them, so in the future don't include me in your
general assumptions about all there.

Don't take things so seriously. This is, after all, the internet, and you're
going to have to deal with this stuff in real life eventually. Get over it.

You seem to think the opinions expressed within the site are my own.

The parody is an attack on such people who WOULD call things like AWRPG
satanic.

I LUV MANDEYE was not a (direct) attack on Seiya Faye but an attack on
those who would still believe Seiya after so many lies.

As for calling you a devil worshipper, etc etc etc, the new disclaimer
on the site's logo should deal with that issue.

Im not sure what is so hard to understand about the fact that some people
found it very offensive :) Maybe you didn't and truly in the real world some
people will take offense to things while others wont... However after the
recent "hacking" of the forum, it was a highly inappropriate "joke". That is
the point.

Well strike, its really not about religion,.its about labeling people you
don't know. My original post was made with the assumption that there was a
nature of seriousness to this considering that it was on a server that
represents a supposed source of valid information, if it wasn't for that id
probably not have poured out all I did. Rossy, to be honest I myself can
take a good joke with the best of them, and if your site had that disclaimer
from the start this post probably would have been a "that's funny" gram
instead, But as Poseidon said in light of recent events its easy to see why
one doesn't find it so funny. While you may not know who did what happened
with the forums, creating such a site just adds fuel to the fire that keeps
such activities going, What is it that makes people dislike a group of hard
working people who volunteer countless resources to a project that they only
benefit from by knowing that it has a large amount of dedicated users who
appreciate it? It makes no sense, yet some seem to feel this way, what makes
the game a target? what did anyone involved do to deserve such a prank? I
don't, I don't see it. Also, In the forums before they were deleted you did
start a thread called "whets with all of the occult stuff in AWRPG", so
taking that to mind I had assumed you were quite serious, oh well, guess I
was wrong and got fooled by your prank, jokes on me, Thanks. hope it makes
you feel better to know.

Oh for the love of god, most of AWRPG spends practically all their day
walking around acting as though they're from the 1600s. Its bound to
attraction ridicule etc, the hacking was over the top but the BB probably
was out of date.

Bluemaxe, let me make this perfectly clear for you, and for the AWRPG
community.

rb.vwtv.org is a sub-domain of vwtv.org. That is Rossyboys personal
fun-site, and it has NOTHING to do with VWTV beyond the fact that it is on
our domain. We do not endorse, encourage, or feed the Rossyboy. Thank you.

Sorry Strike, I wasnt aware I was getting graded on grammer. Well Anthony, I
really dont care who is responsible for such stupid stuff, but if you look
at it from a not so informed perspective, I see VWTV.org, and regardless of
whos subdomain it is, for an outlet of the nature of VWTV to have such
things on your site speaks volumes. If you give subdomains to people who do
things like that with them then thats your perrogative. But as far as i see
it if its on your server its associated with you since whoever it belongs to
is responsible for its content. Im sure that plenty of people were well
aware of its existience and thought it was a riot. So disclaiming it now may
make you feel better but its not going to make me see it differently.

You seem so worried that your reputation will be destroyed by some joke
site. It becomes apparent because you type these huge unorganized posts
trying to defend your butt. Get over it. Ignore the site and be happy.
People who like AWRPG are not going to suddenly run away because of
some joke site. I can tell because some of them ONLY pay for Active Worlds
so they can roleplay there.

Hi everyone:

[View Quote] Yeah what Zeo said.

Not only that, but ANYONE who takes ANYTHING that happens in the
ActiveWorlds Universe seriously needs their head examined.

I'm NOT saying (or otherwise insinuating or implying) that you're crazy, but
SERIOUSLY DUDE....

LEARN TO PUT THINGS YOU SEE HERE IN THE PROPER CONTEXT.

If you can't do that, you'll make more enemies here than you will friends.

Just my opinion....

<snipped>

I offer free hosting and sub domains on my servers. Does this mean that
what users wish to display on their own private accounts, on their own
section of my business website, that it is a bad image for my business
when they are free to their own opinions?

Provided they are not hosting porn, hacking content and the likes that is.

What is on an individual sub domain, does not make it part of the main
website.

ie: www.vwtv.org is separate from rb.vwtv.org is it not?

Rossyboy got his subdomain because he is/was a senior staff member of VWTV.
We don't give them out to everyone and their grandma. While I understand
that your upset over this, blaming and dragging the name of an organization
through the mud because something one member of it did is rather ignorant in
itself. Its like calling, say for example, all of mutation lamers because
one of the people who work there as a banner popped into awgate and started
working around the customs aide with intolerable behavior. Most of the
people who work for mutation are reasonable and nice, so theres no reason to
pull the rest of them into it. Same case here.
