vrunited is vrml i believe "Vehicles that you can actually drive"
one thing i dont like bout vrml is peeps load it down with so much vb and
java script code it becomes realy unstable the point where you can barly get
a world loaded.
i use to do vrml and loved the hard wired animation and ability to use view
point on avs to make rides where one person was like a pilot and could take
another person with them.
but withthe extra code vd and java it wasnt very stable maybe they will do
it better than others have.

heheh i use a pass word generator that i made in basic along time ago works
prety good so none of my pass words are the same any how.
i was more interested in getting a looksee at the browser sw than being a
cit right now got to many other irons in the fire as it is.
also notice i said basic not vis bbasic not gwbasic not q basic but plain
old old old basic eheh:)

spend the extra money dell has dang good service compared to compaqs both
are good lts though.
also rember lts are not realy that upgradeable ram yes hd yes cpu yes any
thing else nope.
buy the best you can aford that way you wont be totaly obsolete in 6 months
..

you know sence the last time i reformated my puter over 6 months ago ive
dlled nearly 100 gig total .
some of wich is from less than reptable web sites and i scanned my puter
yesterday for the hell of it why i was at work i come home and found guess
what zero viri on my 2 20 gig hds yes i know thats 40 gig total i deleted
alot of junk.
but out of 100 or so gigs of junk and no viri in any of it.
explanation common freeking sence its a simple thing realy scan the zips
exes etc that you dl.
i dont use a anti viri progy running in the bg its a mem and resorce hog i
just do manual scans.
so col clunk quit posting this trash!!!!

yep i play rpgs all the time what originaly got me in to 3d chat was i
wanted to add vrml to my web site after upgradeing my puter from my 486 to
my k6-2 300 i searched the net for a vrml viewer and found blaxxun 3d chat.
while there i heard bout active worlds so i checked it out decided it wasnt
good enough to leave my curent fereinds in blaxxun behind for as i couldnt
devide my time between aw and blaxxun. (note) i was highly impressed with
aws realism even in 1.x browser wich is when i first checked aw out the
first time.
3d games was not what originaly drew me to 3d chat.
it was the 3d aspect alone that got me in to blaxxun as i was not a major
chat person i used the internet for searching for walk through and faqs for
rpgs and just stumbled on to 3d chat.
what kept me in blaxx for 2 years and now aw going on i think 3 years is the
comunity asspect not the possibility of games.
basicly what im saying if i want to play a game i will goto toys are us and
pick up the latest rpg.
ive beta tested god 15 or 20 difrent games some you hvae all played some you
have not most of them i cant even rember the names of the ones i do i cant
talk about even today.
some never hit the market like a ad&d rpg based on the play on paper series
wasnt ad&d btw.
any how i get alittle tired of hereing aw should be a level editor or should
have more lever editing type fetures.
something that i think would help aw 3.0s performance is cliping planes and
hsr open gl etc. any how this post is to dang long so ill end it here dont
want to be flamed to death eheh:)

I like the idea bout the drop down list maybe in a lower frame sim to how
namezero had there lower frame set up you click the drop down box and you
get a list of sub domains.
Maybe use a subdomain set up for major areas of the web site ?
example

http://downloads.activeworlds.com and it would have the download section
http://status.activewolds.com would have the same info as the curent network
status .
etc

I agree eep needs to calm down and quit bashing every one but at what cost?
I dont see the point in banning on a vote if you want to ban some one ban
them dont force the comunity to take sides.
No i dont like eeps attitude but i dont think he should be banned by vote
especialy a non anon vote all this will do is rip the aw comunity to shreds.
If you want to do this by vote the votes should as in rr or as most in aw
say rl then do it anon not public.
sorry Factor but no way can i agree on this.
you know what will happen if you go through with this?
You will at some point have to ban most of the peeps who said they wanted
eep to stay and a huge chunk of the peeps who said he should be banned.

He has almost the exact same MO as a troll i ejected in a blaxxun 3d chat
colony city.
This guy comes in and opens with any gays here.

you know what from what i read it seems to me he continualy provoked flyn to
get ejected to try and prove a point.

Sexual convo of any sort should not be allowed in a g inviro pg and pg13 is
alittle iffy.
would i eject some one from a pg world for this possibly and if others there
requested it or complained i would defently eject them.
From a pg13 not realy less others there requested that he be removed or if
he/she flooded.
From a g rated world he/she would not last past the second warning.
I was security in colony city for 2 years wich is basicly the same as a
gk/pk here in aw.
flyn i totaly agree that this person should have been ejected and you are
one very patiant person he would have been gone after the second warning if
it would have been me.

Exactly and its funny how his chat is some times gray sometimes not looks
like a possible forgery.
I just asked at the gate to make sure if gk/pks had to keep logs i my self
would like to see flynns logs of this period when craig was ejected.
So if you read this ng flynn you think you could post a excerp of your log
from when yu ejected this craig??

In both the dereks little experaments and craigs i seen 2 things in comon
multiple warning to stop.
both times they did not both times ejected.
2 difrent gks same result difrent ways of handeling the same thing.
ould flynn have handeled it dirfrently maybe a little by saying we do not
allow sexxualy related chat of any sort in aw gate.
when in colony city security i had to warn 3 times first in wisper then
tiwce in public and we also had similar rules about sexual chat none was
alowed none at all no are gays alowed here no lets have sex saying ether was
the same im sure aws gk/pk guide lines are very similar in this regard.
also ips were logged the first thing we had to do in any case was check the
users ip in question against a list of previous afenders if they had been
ejected do to same sort of thing beforethey got no warning.

I had the creative geforce 2 mx and had the same problem over heating makes
sence i just took the POS back and got a voodoo 5 5500.
I know i know 3dfx is gone but i did buy the card before that but hey its a
good card.
Any how add some extra cooling or run with your case off so you can more
easly monitor things run a direct x game for a few 5 10 mins or untill it
locks up then shut down and check your temp by carefuly touching the gpu or
back of the card it should be bareable to touch.
if not its over heating.
p.s. dont be a putz and just slap your fingure on there realy fast a dang gp
can get hot enough to burn skin off your finger it its over heating just
kinda put your finger near it if you feel heat dont touch it :)

95 is fine for a cpu amd rates theirs to 60s c suckers dont give a f
rateing
Also 95 is your cpus temp not your vid card unless you have some external
sensor hooked in to a thermsitor header on your mobo or a digi doc you wont
get a reading from your vid card.
This sounds heat related to me.
I just double checked with some freinds of mine in irc they also agree this
sounds like over heating isues.
Also try upgradeing your drivers dl the newest from their web site for
win2k.
Some times the hsf they suply suxx and has to much thermal epoxy on it
Im not sure what this card is like you may have the spring loaded pins
holding the hsf on the card.
