Yeh one other unmoderated server would be plenty be it jbells kahs or even
agent fox molders.
Agent.... you need to trim that thing down alot to many ngs wont do any
good.
So far even though jbells server is down alot it seems to be the best sence
it has the most aw related groups and the like as well as haveing a decent
mix of other groups that will be of interest to aw cits.
But it is awesome to finaly see people takeing more interest in the comunity
aspect of aw by putting up ngs etc.
and as for a ng for my site thanks for the offer jbell and i think i will
take you up on it:)
the name id like for it would be simply novas-gaming-center i forget if its
even possible to have the dashes if not just kill them and thanks.
just incase you dont see this thread a copy was sent as a tgram

With texture mode lit you can also end up with total wash out basicly it
ends up being so burned as to end up being white.
In a case like that you will not get realism but totaly useless objects.
imo new objects not modified old objects.

heheh i resent that tech junkie coment :)
Seriously though irc is popular cause its easy to get a chanel takes bout 5
mins
and is free to do so.
I can see one reason some one would want a aw irc chanel say your working on
a object or set of object and your resorces are spred a bit thin but your
working on the kit with some one else you could colaberate on the project in
a irc room with a irc client.
But realy youd want a priv room for that any how so a aw chanel would still
be basicly useless.

i know its possible for bots to bug out and pick up chat beond the 200
netters chat distance ive seen it twice my self was in aw at gz had a bot at
a freinds build out beond 16000x16000 and seen my chat in the bots chat log
was was kinda useless though because as people whent out of range of me they
also disapeared from the bots chat log.
I was sort of acting like half of a chat bot.

I dont see any thing wrong with it if its done like that would be no difrent
than the old phone bot i use to use phone bot to boost chat range in one
world.
What would be nice is if you could have one master bot that had multiple
slave bots that sent chat to the master bot letting you set up a sort of
net to boost chat range set the slaves out at 199 metters away from the
master but as aws curent limit for most cits is 3 bots would make this set
up a little useless.

why would they heck id be willing to bet at least a few companys that make
the software also run warez sites with it on the site
but i do agree the aw ngs are not the place to post any thing warez rellated
i just did a search on my isps news server and warez turned up like 100+ ngs
cracks anoth 50 for thoose interested in warez use thoose 200+ ngs aw ngs
are not the place for talk of warez.
even though the feds realy dont care to much unless some one points it out
to them i seriously dout aw wants their rep tarnished by warez posts and
will report it to the feds then they will bust your arse realy fast.

nope its also the fact that theres no real way to police the internetcept by
reports that people send in like aw mods for example and i can say with
confendance that aw will file reports bout warez based posts and if to many
are made the feds will close the aw ng servers or aw will so take warez
elseware as it simply dont belong in the aw ngs.

Um no most games have less polys and or better engines to handle rendering
aw avs avrage around 800 900 verts while a player charector in ill use
tribes for this even with all the damage decals has around 500 (a decal in
relation to damge in a game is a 3 to 4 vert poly tribes avrages 50 to 100
of these so called decals)
in aw i have never seen above 100 frames per second even in with nothing
around and i mean nothing ie under ground at 350 meters and in games i get
110 and some times higher rates with my radeon 64 vivo.
As per the vert count on aw avs i could be wrong eep or some one makeing avs
may know fo sure has been a while sence i messed with the defualt avs in aw.

Yeh i read that to i love where he was talkign on on one with the one hacker
who prob dang near messed in his pants heh.
Nothing beats a hard ware fire wall though soft ware fire walls are all dang
near useless heaps ZA black ice etc one thing makes them useless people
limited knowlage in setting them up.
You all most have to be a network expert to set one up properly with a hard
ware based fire wall like a router its simple for the most part plug it in
follow a few simple instruction and you are done.
Speeking of fire walls i do have one slight problem with my router and file
tfers i wont take this topic off topic if any one has experiance with
routers and aw file tranfers tgram me please nick in aw is nova.

One serious question for all here sence it would seem all posts are off
topic dang near every post in here has some one that goes off about it being
off topic.
What i want to know is this what is the topic of this ng??
I mean come on theres no real topic in community its a ng to post things
about aw in general.
Like for example maybe some one runs a world or makes bots or other things
related to aw and there leaving town so they wont be able to be reached for
a few days so they post this fact then some one be it eep or another cit
goes off on them for it.
I have seen at least one post that fits this exactly.
And if a post is placed in bots by a bot maker that is leaving town then it
is on topic in both ngs and you see things like STOP cross posting you twit.
I for one dont see that topics like this are off topic in the least.
I know some one likly eep will say something bout a person making bots that
is leaving town or the like only needs to post in bots.
Well i wonder how many non bot makers goto the bots ng on a regular basis???
Id be willing to bet most dont

Blaxxun baa troll heaven uses a plugin tech thats buggy beond belief.
They charge 100 to 200k for one of their servers.
And they are not doing very well at all realy.
and you cant tell me i dont know any thing bout them sence i was there for
nearly 3 years and know many of the higher up people and am still in contact
with a couple of them.
