I woulda made a nice tester, I build every day, pretty much every day of the
year, for 2 years now ;)

I found a couple bugs in 3.1 that weren't reported, but since I couldn't say
anything I couldn't report it. The ones I found are reported now though,
regarding bump sounds for midis.

You can also go to find in the start menu, and type in msconfig, open that,
then click on the startup tab...You'll find a bunch of stuff you don't need
most likely.

It appears that the community NG has nothing to talk about, so I'll post
this idea I thought of.

AWCL: Active Worlds Competitive League

This is for towns who want to do a little competition with other towns.
When they enter the league, judges would go into the town, and rate it on
building style, citizens, how active the town is, and services the town
offers (like newspapers for example), as well as other things. The towns
would then be put on a top 10 or 20 list (depending on competitors). The
towns would be rejudged monthly, or bi-monthly. Upon joining the AWCL, they
must agree not to complain about the judging, and to acknowledge that the
judges judge as fair as possible. Cy awards were once based off judges, but
people complained about it I heard, that's why I'm doing that.

Well, I'm not doing this though, I already got the CLC, but I think it's a
good idea if anyone wants to start a new organization. I think it'd be fun.

What do you think?

Move and rotate actions were restricted since you were able to encroach,
but, what if you added the option to allow activate move/rotate only (kind
of like the option to disable create url)? If any object is going to
encroach your property, don't click it, simple as that.

This system won't work, forget it. You could use something like astart
astop to make it move, or have a bot do it for you.

I dunno much about programming, actually I don't know anything, but I have a
feeling that would take A LOT of programming and work to have it check for
encroachment first.

Go back to the activate only command. It seems like a good idea, but you
can still encroach with astart astop. Maybe if they just made the
punishment for encroaching extreme, like being banned from AW for a months
=D

If it the rotating object encroaches and object made after it was, you could
simply check the built dates, that would stop people from trying to get
others in trouble.

Too bad the built date doesn't go down to the second, that could be a
problem eh?

Judging from what I hear Roland say at a tech talk, which I don't want to
put down really, and everything AWCI has done in the years, it's pretty
obviously that they don't like AW at all, they just do it for the money.
For example, my parents think AW is stupid, but if they could make money off
it, well, then you got a AWCI right there.

Hey Facter, I'm not sure if your in control of this, but you should really
update the whole Community section. There's lots of organizations out
there, and it's hard to compete with the big orgs because they got so much
support from you guys. Also, the resource page could use a tune up, there's
a lot of new pages I've seen that aren't up and should be.
