For some reason it won't work in some worlds - I dont think it works in AW worlds

'Observer' mode: This is kind of cool, letting you wander around in a
universe where ever you like and not be seen by anyone or even showing up on
the world's population. You don't have an avatar to click on, and the bots
don't register that you're there, either. Unfortunately, it can only be
used by people like the universe owner. Or those sneaky individuals who
like to 'play' with things. ;-)

observer mode, so that should perhaps settle it :)

Just a few opinions about his site and opinions on it:
this person, well...he seems to find all these bugs and yet thinks AW will
telepathicly find them all or something. The beta testers dont catch
everything so if you find a bug you don't just sit there and complain.
They'll most likely fix it if they know about it. He doesn't seem to realize
that every new version is going to have bugs and will not be the smoothest
running application. It seems to be worse thats becuase with new features
brings new bugs. Although they SHOULD have been fixed in beta, maybe we need
more testers?
I dont think he reads the beta page either. He takes general terms like "seq
fix" and thinks that it means all problems with seqs are all fixed when in
fact only one problem with sews was fixed.
He cant just say my world he has to say my world, ThisIsIt every time which
is really anoying heh, but what the hey its his site.
He thinks that putting your contact list on the uniserver means theyre
snooping into it. Uuuh...right...like theyre going to want to know who your
contacts are....seesh. He also does not trust AW management at all and
thinks they look at your credit card number and who you have on your contact
list.
He has a thing about Gor and thinks aw should stop them becuase in his
opinion they are wrong. And i never hear anyone talking about adult topics
in aw worlds, which is really impossible through regular chat anyway. And he
doesnt like PKs becuase they eject you if you talk about gors or "try to
speak out against them" *cough* riiiight.. I can tell he knows no truth of
Gor and just thinks that people are controlling and talking about adult
things with little children. There is an age limit and theres nothing to
force here either, you log out of you dont like it. And just becuase he gets
into a fight with a few gor person he immediatly stereotypes all gors that
way. I doubt he treated them with respect in the first place becuase of his
believes against them so why should they to him which is problem why they
are so hostile in the first place. He also says gor worlds are breaking the
law because the role-play killing. HA! So that would mean playing practicly
any game out there would be murder also since it involves killing peoples
characters. come ON...
So thats it >:)

I am sitting on my bike at the coordinates of 5117N 92E and I am in need of
something.
Since those coordinates put me at the Median Way exit off my Riverside
Expressway (westbound only), I thought it would be ingenius of me to put up
a sign pointing to Ground Zero. But instead of just putting up any ordinary
sign, I thought it'd be cool to post the distance (in kilometres and statute
miles) as well.
If any of you can crunch the numbers for me (I'm NOT the math wiz I was when
I was a kid! :-)), it'd really be MUCH appreciated. :-)
In fact, since Median Way runs through a good portion of the NE part of AW,
perhaps it wouldn't be a bad idea if a bunch of us starting sprinkling signs
like that up and down Median Way so people don't get lost. :-)
Does this sound like a cool idea or what??? :-)

Cheers for now everyone... :-)

Reason is because that 92e is very little compared to 5117n.. therefore the direction is almost
straight north...
Anyways... in hell here's how I'd show the work...
(a ^ 2) + (b ^ 2) = (c ^ 2)
(5117 ^ 2) + (92 ^ 2) = (c ^ 2)
26183689 + 8464 = (c ^ 2)
26192153 = (c ^ 2)
c = 5117.8269802719982143599173580683
Then after that I converted it to kilometers (a coord is 1/100th of a kilometer) and miles :)

Yes it would be easier. Plus I don't know of a single sign that would make

I remember citizen IcyDee (I assume expired sometime around 2002) made
massive builds in Alphaworld using automated building programs, and appears
as having built the most objects there as well, yet I can't get any location
to his builds (does not appear on Mauz search, and AWPS requires priv pass
to search for work), so, I am wondering if anyone would know where some of
his builds might be (they look really cool), or had a faster connection than
a 56k that could search for it... :)

This build gives stability, but the handle leak is still there I believe, AW
normally adds like a thousand-ish handles to make normal handle usage about
13k, it is on a steady rise to 26k (still rising). I wanted to see if DEP
(data execution prevention) would see identify AW, 949 it sure did, 949c, on
start it says "Access violation at 0x3d56000". So, its still disabled...
but, it atleast isn't crashing my system badly, and the CPU usage isn't out
of control.

After a long run time of AW 4.1 949c, it will eventually become unstable.
cks51.tmp has over 43k handles to itself... whenever AW is active, it
steadily rises in what appears to be in accordance with the frame rate.
Could it be AW is storing previous frame buffers? I constantly see flashes
of what is something previously rendered...Mauz, in the gate at the same
time, is running a nice 138 handles... so far, I believe this issue isn't on
certain processors, such as the Athlon XP atleast, Baro and Mauz both use
them with no problems.

this has worked for me...
right click desktop -> properties, settings tab, advanced button ->
troubleshooting tab
move the slider down until you get it stable
if you need to keep having it go down until software mode kicks in, then
this won't do any good for you... moving it down once to where cursor and
bitmap acceleration was disabled, cleared many problems I was having that
noone else was, granted this certainly isn't a long-term solution, hopefully
it will be worked out eventually :)

I'm not sure what is using a codec called "nvtrpdemux.ax", but renaming it

respectful of the situation. Now after a great show, yes, that was a pretty
damn funny typo. :)

Besides the point I'm going to make - perhaps certain invidvidual aspects of
X rated worlds could be submitted for judgeing, but anyways, I bring myself
to the subject of this post. First of all, we need to ask ourselves if the
personal attacks are necessary
