Sailers get fed up with E N Z OFeb 21, 2006, 1:45am
Ok today I was talking with Legion and he found a page for a sailing
club where E N Z O was subscribed to. Every time they posted, they'd get his vacation message and they got pissed off lmao They reply and post about what they're doing with his spam emails :D My favorite is this one (last one down): "I think we should all make sure to mark our calendars for enzo's return. We can all e-mail him to let him know how we've missed him. " http://list.sailnet.net/read/messages?id=57535 lol check it out and have fun, tell me what you think :O ----- Signed, Jaguar Hahn 348341 SAW Awards - Thanks!May 3, 2006, 6:30pm
Definitely the best awards ceremony I've ever been to. Thanks so much
for it. btw, I won trivia ^_^ CuriousMay 7, 2006, 2:07am
> 1. How did you find out about AW?
The owner of the world Librarea introduced me to it. > 2. Why did you join? What triggered your registering as a citizen? Well, I won my first cit from AWCamp sooooo :P The features were amazing, I loved AW. > 3. How long have you remained a citizen? Since 2000. > 4. What is the best feature of AW for you? Building. > 5. What have you created in AW? A baseball stadium, two towns, and many army bases. > 6. What activities do you enjoy in AW? Building, hanging out with my friends (talking), AWRadio, exploring worlds. -Jaguar Growing Up AWstyleMay 7, 2006, 2:13am
I was almost 9 when I discovered AW and I turn 15 on Saturday so I guess
I can answer this. > 1. How did AW affect your growing years? Well, I learned SW lingo and used that in RL O_O LOL It actually matured me in a way, I learned new words/vocabulary, etc. > 2. What role did AW citizenship take in your social life, virtual and > physical world? Over the years, I spent most of my time actually ON Active Worlds so my social life basically jumped off a cliff and that's where it is now - the bottom ^_^ It surely didn't help my baseball talents by sitting on my rear clicking and typing for hours and hours and hours either :D > 3. Did it enhance your relationships in your location or what aspects > significantly affected your development? No, it didn't enhance anything. Nothing really significantly affected my development. > 4.What did you gain or lose being a kid/teen growing up with AW > experiences in your childhood? I lost many friends that I wasn't able to do stuff with...basically lost a lot of time I could have used to learn new stuff, like live a "pre-teen life"... > 5. Being online and in AW, among adults and teens, how did this > influence or touch your lives? It touched me because I was able to meet so many people not only across the country, but across the world too. I thought that was amazing, and still do. Thanks for the awesome threads CoLor :) -Jaguar What. The. Hell?Jun 4, 2006, 3:23am
Dusk I agree buddy, we cant use web links. theyre useful man. I wish we
could do that. its veeeeerrrrry bad. yeah >:O at that pic [View Quote] xelagotJun 5, 2006, 6:08am
I agree, Xelagot is my favorite too.
I'm trying to do propdumps of a larger scale world and since Xelagot's can't survey a lot of AWTeen, I want to use YASBB. It hasn't come out for 4.1 yet so I'll try Magsbot thanks :) [View Quote] xelagotJun 5, 2006, 2:41pm
lol Evo for 4.1 is so unstable Strike. Half the commands wouldn't work
correctly. Andras got YASBB 4.1 done :) Hooray lol. I tried to use Magsbot to survey all of AWTeen last night and I disconnected like halfway through >_< Now I can use YASBB to do just New Arklay City. I also found out I liked Magsbot a lot too though :D It's got a lot of cool features and things to use. I like to use all 5 now: Xelagot, Preston, YASBB, Magsbot and Evo (if Evo ever gets fixed) xelagotJun 6, 2006, 3:23am
I've been trying to make a map of New Arklay City but I just can't get it to
work right Comit lol. [View Quote] Thanks Cryonics For Fixing My 4.1 Problem!Jun 5, 2006, 12:23am
It fixed most problems for me, but if I leave the browser running
minimized for about 15 minutes, then come back, AW is slower than a camel in the desert. Thanks Cryonics For Fixing My 4.1 Problem!Jun 6, 2006, 4:21pm

[4.1 Build 950] :Jun 6, 2006, 4:18pm
I have to say though, build 950 fixed every lag problem I could ever
imagine. I am getting about 140 FPS and AW 4.1 is running fast as lighting ;) Thanks AWI for fixing it so it runs very fast now. All that's left now is to start fixing up bugs. I hope everyone else's lag problems were fixed. lol this comes after a night where 4.1 was insanely slow on my computer and lagged me to no end, but thank gosh 950 was out this morning. [4.1 Build 950] :Jun 6, 2006, 10:26pm
ok I just went AFK for 4 hours on AW, then came back (had 9 programs
running). I was sitting in the middle of AWTeen and when I came back, I was able to freely move around with no lag (60+ FPS). That is considerably better than 3.6, because with 3.6 when I went AFK and came back, I had to restart the browser because of the buildup of all the lag. <3 build 950 Preserving AW History (build 130 included)Jun 27, 2006, 6:56pm
Gnu,
I have several versions you can have. All of the cache was lost way back when so bleh :( Maybe you can try some 1.0 cache with them? I've got these, then every main version installer and some beta ones since 2.0 lol. I think I'll upload them all for you if you want. Preserving AW History (build 130 included)Jun 27, 2006, 7:03pm
Woops, also forgot to add that, yeah, if anyone has a propdump of A!!CT, omg

I'm headed out for the beach that day ;)
Most folks going on vacation are headed out that day. Waypoint moversJun 27, 2006, 6:49pm
To me, the entire waypoints system is very buggy....it's limited to 100 and
wow, it just....hardly ever works correctly. [View Quote] More ImaBot releases for 4.1Jun 27, 2006, 6:49pm
AW 4.1 / WLM "stuttering/unsmooth FPS" issueJun 27, 2006, 6:48pm
A friendly tip:
In 4.1 at first, all particles were jagged and then movement by others was jagged...and even objects that had 'create move' were jagged. I was getting 120+ FPS, but still everything was jagged like crazy. So what I did was go to Settings, and then moved the "attempt to keep frame rate at or near---" box from 100 to 30. Then I changed the box that said "limit frame rate to a maximum of about----" to say 30 instead of like whatever I had it at (I think it was 200 or so). And boy, did things work much better. The entire browser is running MUCH faster ;) You should try it if things are jagged for you in AW, like they were for me. [View Quote] AW 4.1 / WLM "stuttering/unsmooth FPS" issueJun 28, 2006, 4:41am
What exactly does the "Empty Local Cache" option do?Jun 27, 2006, 6:44pm
I used it when I was in AWTeen and it warped me to GZ, where apparently all
of the cache was deleted. The world proceeded to sort of 'reload' for me. I find it useful :) but I still like to empty my cache the other way. [View Quote] Who is this Immigration Officer anyhow?Jun 29, 2006, 7:30am
