Hi, I know I am not beta testing nor can I post there, must be a beta
testers only NG I gess, but someone who is please check this out to see if
it has been fixed.
When you have a few create sound midi url's around you.
1st you hear the one your closer to, then 1 by 1 you start hearing all the
others within your site range. It should not be doing that.

That will work with Internet Explorer 5.5 you don't need any configing. What
will happon you click the link, it will download a small file. Then it will
look on your PC for the AW browser and auto start it, then all you got to do
it log in and you get teleported their :-)
Yes, I have done this many many times. You don't need no configing anything.

Hi. I been trying to fix this problem with my PC for the past 3 weeks and I
am really lost here.
here is my problem.
I installed a CD-RW drive back in February 2001 if worked 100% fine up till
3 weeks ago.
I will no longer read or write to the CD type cdrw, it will not even notice
it.
my CD-ROM will not read them anymore ether.
however both drives will read all other CD types. If anyone can help me
here. Please don't be shy I am open to all options. Fill free to post a book
long idea I will read it all.
I tried everything I can possibly think of.
reinstalling the CDRW drive and all its software, scanning my PC for
viruses, scanning my PC for errors, doing a defrag, reinstalling windows98.

note: under no means will I reformat my hard drive, I have no way of backing
it up.

I believe that was Tuvok :-)
Yes I tried other CDRW type CD's, even blank ones to see if the formatting
would start for them.
Then I put in a used one or a blank one all I get is device not ready, for
all my drives.
I only get this when trying to read or write to a CDRW type CD.

Hi, seems some of you pay for how much you download from the Internet, why
is that anyway?
I only pay $40 every 2 months and I can download all I want for that with no
extra charges.
And that's just normal service.
If I where you I would be looking for a new ISP

kah, maybe you should read slower next time. The WHY was for, why do some
pay for how much they download, not why you don't like it.
I already know how bad HTML in news groups can be.

Is anyone having problems with the world surver not reconnecting when you
loose your internet connection?
Its the newest version available to the public that's doing this.
Here is what's going on.
When my internet connection gives me the boot, the world surver will try to
reconnect to the universe.
When it dose this it opens a ton of dial up connections instead of using the
1st one it brought up.
Then it performs an illegal operation then shuts down, never reconnecting.
Sence there is no "BUG" news group I just posted it here.
So if anyone here is having the same problem and have found a way to fix it,
please let me know.

PS. This only happens on dial up connections.
I had someone test it with a cable and a DSL connection manually
disconnecting to see what happens.
Seems only dial up gives this problem.

Also bots will use the 1st connection and reconnect, so will the AW browser,
this seems to be a bug in the world surver.
I gess the people at AW don't check things over a dial up connection.
I think they should as many of us still have a dial up and STILL can't get
anything better.
DSL and cable internet is NOT in my area yet. Why you ask? Well here it is,
the stupid phone company is to cheap and lazy to install the new lines into
my town. :-(

Reason I want it is for my world server, my sister keeps closing it that
way.
There is really no accsess protection for the world server on the host side.
There is for remote access but not host accsess.

I already tried telling her to stop it. She's stuck in her ways.
She keeps saying it locks up AOL IM, lol yea right I use that to and I have
no problems with AOL IM and the world running.

The only problem I have with the world is when I get bumped off-line the
world server will sit there and open a never ending supply of dial up
connections never reconnecting then eventually freezes the PC.
My dial up is set to remember login name and pass and connect automatically
when its needed.

onto the PC boards and things? the water tubes will get condensation on them
from time to time.

Hi, dose anyone know the HTML code ( it might be java) that disables the
ability to go to veiw at the top of the web browser then picking source to
see the html of the web page?

Im just trying to keep them newbie webpage makers from takeing the easy road
to a good web page.
Plus I dont want my graphics stolen. I already disabled right clicking but
as long as they can look at the source they can get anything they want.

Hi I run my V Scanner 2 times a day just to be on the safe side.
And this time when I did that it found no viruses but during the scan
something used up 1 GB of hard drive space, yes GB.
Nothing was running sept my V scanner.
Im really lost here. my V scanner log file is set to never go over 100 KB

right now i got 2 side frames and one in the center, I want one at the top

For me mipmap setting makes all textures look fuzzy
Textures looks much better with that setting off.
