IE 5.5 and teleport links (General Discussion)
IE 5.5 and teleport links // General Discussion
Aug 2, 2001, 2:45am
If I use my Internet Explorer 5.5 browser stand-alone (not in the AW
browser), none of the teleport links will work.
Yet using the AW browser (IE 5.5 still), allows all teleport links to work
fine.
Any suggestions on setting changes I might make to my IE 5.5 so when I use
it stand-alone, it will automatically open AW software and complete the
teleport link like it used to and like Netscape does?
Thanx,
CyberBoy

Just associate .cgi files with AW. This is perfectly fine assuming you don't edit CGI files...

That will work with Internet Explorer 5.5 you don't need any configing. What
will happon you click the link, it will download a small file. Then it will
look on your PC for the AW browser and auto start it, then all you got to do
it log in and you get teleported their :-)
Yes, I have done this many many times. You don't need no configing anything.
