no, not really, the only reason companies have beta testing, is so that
there users dont get annoyed with all the bugs. so if beta is public, and
people choose to upgrade to beta, then they cant expect bugs, and know that
they will prob soon be fixed

wait sorry, bowen is right, i have a swimming pool, and goto the beach alot,
the reason you see less in sea water is cus of the amount of dirt in there,
but swimming pools, you can clearly see to the bottom. just everything seems
alot smaller(unless its from an angle, where the sky reflects)

would be a cool effect if you could have a primitive refraction thing, where
everything under water looks closer, oh, and when the world is tring to get
a sunny look, and you go behind a hill or something, it looks really dark,
which isnt how it is in real life.
Oct 31, 2002, 8:55am
ok, instead of havin fake cars and shit, why not just make it possible to
control the avatar speed. so, we could have it as when your in a certain
avatar(say, a human), you go at 10mph and when your in another(say a car av)
you move at 80mph and when your in another (say motorcycle) you go at
100mph. and so on. and with the new 3.4 ability to disable the avatar list,
and choose someones avatar, it will make some fun games possible. hell, we
could have proper racing games maybe, with enough bot work lol :)
Nov 8, 2002, 8:18pm
well, if im not mistaken, whenever someone changes an object, the browser
adds the new one, then deletes the old one anyway, so either way (weather
changed, or just added) it would be a new object.

aactually, its more then just the processor's serial i believe, its a
mixture between that and the hard drive serial, and some other things. thats
why when you change things in your pc (such as adding ram) it will say
invalid password, because your computer id has changed, and so it doesnt
decrpyt it correctly, since it uses your computer id as the encrption key or
something like that. or wait, is that a diffrent matter?
