You most definately are one of many:)
Lu was an intergal part of the Cys. She not only organized the first one, but also was a long time consultant for them. And I owe her a ton, as she was the one that handed them over to me:) Thanks Lu where ever you are and good luck on your journeys! Huggggs:) Bit:) Ban Cyclone Cit#340396Apr 20, 2002, 11:26pm
Hey filmkr:)
Are you an Internet Service Provider or Server Hoster? As an ISP, you probably already know that all it takes is an email or a phone call to the "alleged"'s ISP informing them of the problem and they would knock them off the Net entirely. Once you locate the person's ISP, check out the terms and conditions. When I worked for one in Ohio, and we received one complaint about one of our users, it was bye bye:) But I would most certainly make sure of all the facts before reporting them. Good luck:) Bit:) Ban Cyclone Cit#340396Apr 20, 2002, 11:55pm

Hi Jerme:)
That was easy to put together? The forum...the album? Utilizing 2 servers? Wouldn't have been easy for me....but I'm not that well versed in web page building:) New Cy Pages!!!!!Apr 26, 2002, 4:13pm
Hi again Jerme:)
Since your on the topic of comparing the old with the new...maybe you should be more thorough. What's new is the following; 1. Less graphics for faster download. 2. Corrected fonts so everyone can see the pages without having to highlite the letters. 3. A more organized links list. 4. A calender. 5. A chat forum. With capabilities for uploading a person's photo. 6. A chat forum with organized folders for each area of the teams. 7. More web space for the forum. 8. A historical section under construction. 9. Contact link with areas to fill in. 10. Voting and Nominations pages, that will save me about 200 hours of work:) 11. Future stuff that hasn't even been thought of yet! 12.....anything I might have forgotten:) You have a right to your opinions, and I respect them. Your entry was wonderful also. FYI.....The Webmaster that was chosen, was not only chosen for thier capabilities and talents, but anyone who joins the Team has a main criteria to meet. The Cy Heart. (The Cy Heart is one that thinks of others first. Gives more than receives) The Webmaster isn't just a Webmaster, they are part of the Cy Team and must be able to keep a positive attitude and work with others. Could you have fit in those shoes? (That is a rhetorical question:) New Cy Pages!!!!!Apr 26, 2002, 4:16pm
Dear Community:)
The pages are new. If you have any helpful comments and suggestion please join the forum pages and post them there. We appreciate all constructive input:) Thanks! Bit:) New Cy Pages!!!!!Apr 26, 2002, 5:07pm

I could be wrong here but I believe web pages used in AW are built towards
the left for easier reading in the AW brwoser? New Cy Pages!!!!!Apr 26, 2002, 6:02pm
Trust me Baro....if people don't have the credentials to be a judge, they
will be asked if they really feel capable of performing the judging. We are hoping that the Community will participate enough to make sure experianced knowledgeable folks end up as judges. We also will need "fresh eyes" . The judging positions require alot of work. A ton of builds to see and programs to try out. They will be required to give input on what they chose also. We rely alot on trust regarding the Cys, and hopefully we can continue to do so:) We have tried alot of different ways to do the Cys....but this one hasn't been tried yet.....cross your fingers that this ones a hit;) New Cy Pages!!!!!Apr 26, 2002, 8:10pm
Hey Comp,
Well put and I hope everyone respects your professionalism and honors your request. Thank you, Bit:) New Cy Pages!!!!!Apr 28, 2002, 5:17pm
Please stand by Andras and Xav *wink*...hehehehe!
And what the heck do you mean you don't count??????? Every single person counts in the AW CommunitY ya knows:) We may not be able to please all of the people some of the time...but try our best to please most....most of the time:) [View Quote] NetworksMay 4, 2002, 5:22pm

This one's pretty cool! I don't know if it has a timer tho. Haven't played with it much yet:) NetworksMay 5, 2002, 5:01pm
Hi Bowen:)
Yes it's true that anyone can televise the Cys from thier pc and we wouldn't even know it....maybe:) However....other stations do not have sponsorship identification on the Cy web page nor inworld. And the best thing they don't have is stage and backstage access for the best pics possible. Oh...and I might add.....others also don't have the capability of interviewing inworld during Cy events, nor anyone on the Cy Committee. ABNtv has the exclusive rights because they are dependable...creative...and have very professional manners in dealing with the Cys and folks who attend them. I am not saying others don't show professionalism. We just promised ABNtv exclusive rights as the only way we could say thank you for the great job last round:) NetworksMay 6, 2002, 10:50am
Good point Goober.
You guys at AWNews.com have always covered the Cys beautifully as a virtual newspaper. We would hope you would continue to do so:) Ok, we really can't stop folks from interviewing people and definately don't want to take away from the Recipients interviews. I appologize for my wording, ....was tired when I became "reactive". What I mean to say is that AWNews.com and ABNTV and WVRB will be allowed exclusive access to areas for photos and exclusive interviews. And thier links on our sponser pages, plus inworld gz signs. BTW...thank you for the beautiful writeup on the Team Party:) Also, sorry we didn't talk about your sponsorship before. Can we please get the logo and link url for AWNews.com so we can get you folks on the web page and gz area? Thanks! Bit:) FWD: AASwampMay 3, 2002, 11:42pm
I might add...AASwamp is a past Cy Nominated world....great place!
Sorry to see it go away:( Selection Committee NominationsMay 11, 2002, 2:45pm
Dear Activeworlds Community,
Do you know someone you consider an Aficionado with AW Artistic creations, Technicalities, and Community Participation? Are you yourself fluent in this? This round we are introducing a committee selection procedure. These folks will be responsible for narrowing down the nominations to the top five, along with giving short critics of them. You can nominate yourself or someone you feel would be great in this position. Details of this new procedure and the nominations page can be found at www.awcommunity.org/cyawards/nominations.html Nominations open at 7pm VRT today! Hi Roc:)
Sorry to hear about Rypp's problem:( Did he keep pw info in a file in his pc somewhere and was possibly hacked? Did he share his pw with anyone? Hopefully he will get it back quickly. Please give him my best and tell him to get back soon! Hugggs:) Bit:) Password theftMay 15, 2002, 9:53pm

I really wanted to write something poetic and heartfelt here for Weebette's
friends and family in AW. I found myself numb with thought and creativity. I would like to share Tauntaun's words (that he placed on the Cy forum pages for Weebo), with ya'll, as they seemed to be wonderful and full of everything I would like to say. They are as follows; I am very saddened to report that Weebette has fallen away from us. Like an angel sent to us from heaven, she is now returning back. Upon her years sharing with us she has brought much joy and happiness to fill our hearts. The CyAwards Commitee represents community, and this community was greatly taken care of by her passion to help. You can visit a house she once made, dedicated to friends at 4980n 32740e. At the entrance reads "Friendship House: Dedicated to Love, Laughter, Smiles, Hugs, Fun & Friends! All are welcome here!"... a remembrance not to her, but to those that she continues to love so very much... us.
