I did find out that if you use the update feature (that updates 3.5 to 3.6)
that you may have more problems than if you d/l the full version from the
website ... install that to a new directory! Be sure to rename your 3.5 icon
on your desktop because aw will add a new one for 3.6 ... I have 3 versions
of aw all in diff folders, and I find I do have to use those at different
times ... especially if 3.6 is acting up.

Builderz, we'd be more than happy to include you, or anyone else, on the
list of b'day builders ... just gram tunablues (as it's his ball for the
next coupla months LOL). He's keeping track of all the builders and setting
up most of the builds for the time being. Be aware tho, being on the
builder's gram list means you are notified of all (known) upcoming b'days
whether you know the birthday person or not. You aren't expected to build
but you will get several grams a month. Perhaps talk to tunablues and see if
you want to be added.
DMC2U ... so glad your b'day rocked!

Is that available? I can't seem to get it running in my world. I can do

Is this the same place? http://www.tnlc.com/Lara/awpics/saxon.jpg I did a

you can resize with a good graphics progy?
Mauz has three saxon pix here http://mauz.info/awpics1997.html although I'm
not sure if this relates to what you are looking for or if hers is something
else, worth sending your way none the less. Scroll down to saxon pix. Google

I believe you can't openly say .exe or .com in a sentence, due to the
ability to pass trojans, etc, from web urls. I think you can whisper them
but not say them out loud. So if you want to do an url, perhaps say
there. com? LOL

I've been to both worlds and aw as well as there but not second life ... of
all of those I still prefer aw! Why? Cause I can build here, I can make my
own objects and avs and use them here. I think for overall creativity aw
rocks.
I'm a beta member of there for that matter, it's nice but you need a stokin
graphics card to even use it (even though they've cut those requirements
down since beta), you can't make your own avs or objects but you can make
things *for the existing ones*. The avs look too cartoony for my taste, and
are too big for the screen. I am on the design team but as long as they're
gonna charge me (even in therebucks which cost real money) I'm not about to
pay them just to show my designs :o/! One of the things that rocks in there
is that you can ride / hover / fall offa / etc the vehicles, you can hop on,
ride, hop off. I also like my interactive doggy although having to say words
to get him to do anything is no fun, specially when he doesn't listen to me
:o/ ... stupid doggy LOL. I do my required two hours a month on there to
keep my *beta fee* active, but otherwise I don't go there much. From what I
can tell SL is similar to there, or so it seems from the screen shots.
I hear many AWers have gone there. But I also know that many that left aw
when they charged more, have since come back, even just as tourists. Use to
be a time when I refused to pay for a chat. I was a *palacer* (2D chat) for
four years prior to aw, then I got into a newer version of palace called
*manor* (2D chat). I still own my own palace and manor chats, but seldom go
to either anymore. I enjoyed both, but not to nearly the degree that I've
enjoyed aw this past year +. 3D rocks! So, if I get to cranky about aw's
flaws, just tell me "you can always go back to palace" LOL!
Just my thoughts...

I absolutely agree with ya hun, I got my *free cit* in worlds for 3 mths, +1
for being an AWer LOL, and after that I just didn't go back. It's laggy to
load at start, every time ... or so it was for me.
AW has *alot* of potential. Competition is good because they can perhaps
branch out into areas other chats are trying ... AW is well established so
it should do pretty good in some of these *new ideas* we're seeing in other
3D chats. Take something as simple as real mirrors ... worlds has that and
that's one of their kewlest features I think! I'm told aw could do this with
ease and has had this ability for ages. I loved walking by mirrors in worlds
and watching my av as I did so LOL. Small things amuse me. Take being able
to use your own modeled or purchased avs in any world ... simple concept and
it is done in other 3D chats ... so why not aw? You'd all know it's me, not
just by my name but because of my own unique avs (which now have my RL face
on em LOL). I'd love to be able to visit other worlds and *be me* ...
perhaps make it at least an option? OK someone's gonna tell me this belongs
in wishlist so ... I'm posting to both LOL.
1) Realistic Mirrors
2) My own avs in any worlds
AerHawk (hubby) and I were discussing whether or not we should renew Aeon
since it's due in a coupla weeks. The resounding answer is YES. I've spent a
heap of time in aw, I've worked hard on my world (and the d/l time proves it
LOL) ... it's an intense world and I love it dearly. I'd have withdrawals if
I had to stop now, even for a short time! AW rocks, no if ands or buts about
it!
The End (for now)...

You can always send a gram to *the owner(s)* and ask them to notify their
DJs to not have you on their contacts. But if they say it aloud in your
presence then you can only mute or ignore as you say. Still they only say it
once in awhile, I don't see it as an issue ... not for me.

E N Z O ... doesn't your site have *autoresponders* ability for your emails?
They are simple to set up and people would at least know the email was
received. Please consider this ... a company that does not respond to emails
appears to not care, even if they do care ... how would we know if we get no
replies? I've seen this time and again, complaints that emails are not
replied to and folks don't know if the emails were actually received. At
least if you set even just one *autoresponder* for all accounts ... "Your
email was received, thank you!" ... at least we'd know your company emails
are getting to you!? You can also do *vacation responders*.
Respectfully...

BTW, when you do look into it and are ready to do an *autoresponder*
message, it's best to let people know...
1) This email is an autoresponder reply (not a person replying but an
automated reply)
2) You should mention "Do NOT reply to this message" (since autoresponders
are server generated and not from an individual, replying to it will go to
the autoresponder which in turn will generate yet another autoresponder
message)
3) If the situation warrants the person will be contacted, otherwise not
Most web hosting companies offer autoresponder email replies as a standard
feature and I'm sure yours does as well ... as you said you already use the
*vacation* one so I'm sure you can do this with ease.

PS ... Glad summer has made you all *happy* ... be safe!

The recent release that folks have been using the update button on I'm told
is making folks' fps drop to very, very low. I've been told this by at least
two people that have done the update recently and they tell me it's not
world specific as they've experienced it in more than one world. I have not
done the update as I was waiting to hear if there are any problems with it.
As it turns out there is ... so I'll wait for abit. I suppose you'd say next
to send bug reports to email addy but I'm only passing on hearsay, and if
they want to email that I'm sure they can get the email to send to. Most
won't bother I'm sure, especially since the update is not marked as beta
anyway.
I thought I'd pass on what I've been told non the less.

Since they did the auto upgrade, none of this (except maybe their cache)
should have changed. I'll ask next time I see them tho. Thanks...
