I just wanted to let the community know that I've been feeling ill for
the past week or so. Two areas near the back of my lower jaw are very
swollen, most of my head/neck area feels very tense, and I've been
losing some weight.

I first thought it might be due to TMJ, but then I noticed that my mouth
was getting drier than normal, so I assumed it was my salivary glands.
Just today I noticed that there seems to be two white things near the
back of my mouth, so my latest assumption is an issue with my wisdom
teeth. :(

I tried resting throughout the week, sipping on water dozens of times
each day, swishing with warm salt water, and using a heating pad on the
swollen areas without much relief. I'll be going to the doctor this week
(and probably to the dentist soon after).

So if anyone telegrams me or sends me an e-mail, just know that I may
not get back to you very promptly. I'm the person that answers all of
the e-mail for 3D Host, so that will be delayed as well. I'll try to
check in whenever I can. Thanks for your understanding.

Sounds like tonsiloths, low grade infection, and swollen glands (between
corner of jaw and earlobe?)

Just my $90 worth for a 2 minute consultation.

Meantime, hope all is well soon.

Thanks for everyone's kind words! I truly appreciate it.

I went to the doctor yesterday and they said it was most likely a TMJ
issue and that my glands were fine and there wasn't an infection.
Although, the doctor recommended I take some anti-inflamatories (sp?)
and go to the dentist sometime in the future to make sure my wisdom
teeth were okay.

I did some research on TMJ and in the advanced stages it can get pretty
ugly. Some people's jaw/mouth lock shut for hours or even days at a time
so they are unable to eat or speak.

I'm sure sitting in front of my computer most of the day (bad posture)
doesn't help very much. I found a nifty program called Workrave at
http://www.workrave.com/welcome/index.php that prompts you when to take
a break at the computer and has some exercises you can do. I encourage
anyone that spends many hours at their computer to check it out (it is
free).

Once again, I thank everyone for their support. *raises glass* To good
health! :)

We'll hope for the best and continue to pray for you builderz. Thanks for
thinking of us with the WorkRave suggestion that's a marvelous idea. Being
health conscious concerns everyone. I found a little program a while back
called Silk Quit that actually helped me quit smoking while online.
http://www.silkquit.org/index.html . Hope this also helps someone.

To your health. :o)
