What's with all the "Kill Nornny" and "Nornny's up to know good" and "Look!
We should zap Nornny!"?? Oh well, two can no doubt play at this game. ;) And NO, I'm NOT rigging the game, or else the game wouldn't be tied. I prolly saved your Typo butt with those "Bonus points" in challenge 2 anyways. You were put together randomly, and since then, I've played dirty, yet fair. It's not my fault you're in jeaopardy of getting voted off. I'll shed a tear when that day soon comes. ;) Nornny [View Quote] [NG Survivor] Immunity Challenge #...what number is it? Ah yes, 5.Jun 28, 2001, 8:50pm
hold up hold up hold UP! It's bad enough that you kill me and use my death
twice in a diary, you kill off MAUZ! And it wasn't even that exciting of a death! God, you're asking for it. Now who the heck is going to do Tech Talk? Nornny [View Quote] [NG Survivor] Immunity Challenge #...what number is it? Ah yes, 5.Jun 29, 2001, 5:53pm
This is for immunity, all of you tribes DO NOT face any point deductions.
Spark has left the game before the first part of the challenge ended, so there is NO deduction for Typo other than a deduction of a member. You all, to some degree, met all or most of the requirements, so I'll go easy and give them to yu. They were just so darn funny I couldn't take away points for that. lol Anyways, you guys have to finish the race strong. You have only 24 hours to vote and get your friends to vote. You can vote as many times as you want, just be aware your voting alone will prolly not win the game, as everyone else will be voting hundreds of times. I tihnk the community this time will absolutely play a large part in the outcome in this challenge, so be aware of that. This is for immunity and your security in the merger! Log on to http://pub50.bravenet.com/vote/vote.php?usernum=4253335963 and start casting votes. The website will be updated shortly with a link to this url, ALL of your diary entries for ppl to read, and Spark's stats. Nornny Stepping outJun 27, 2001, 11:47pm
Now HOW are you going to play NG Survivor without a cit? maybe you can go
out like Michael Skumpkin (sp) and fall into your fire. :) Don't leave all of a sudden, Wing! Play your fate!! Sorry, just had to beg you to at least play until the end. You'll be missed, and not for Survivor. lol. I do appreciate you getting the newbies wiled up most of the time. :) Nornny [View Quote] [NGS] I hearby resign.Jun 29, 2001, 4:18pm
Are you absolutely sure about this? In a way, you help because it moves the
game along, but we'd still like to see you survive. I'm taking you off the game, if by Tribal Council night on Sunday, you change your mind, you have until before then to say so. I guess Survivor hasspoken. Another goes crashing down in flames...*extinguishes Spark's torch flames* Here's what we do. I believe Spark really doesn't want to play anymore, but the diary challenge IS NOT obsolete. This diary challenge will still go on, as we're almost done with it. However, THIS WILL BE THE LAST CHALLENGE BEFORE WE MERGE INTO A TRIBE! Which means, Typo, you need to win this if you want to stay 5-5 in the merger. If not, you're outnumbered by two. I reccommend you get together, and start voting for yourself when the poll comes. Seeing Spark left the game before the challenge finished, I will not count his nonexistant diary entry against you. Good luck everyone, better get Spark back to civilization to recover from this harsh terrain. The kid's been beat up pretty bad. Nornny [View Quote] Aw stealing from you with trickery?Jun 30, 2001, 12:35pm
Okay, you're bordering on absolute paranoia here, insanity. lol. You do make
a good point, but has this ever happened? It prolly has, but still, nothing to get a tilly over. It's corporate business at its best. I think it's kinda refreshing that AWCOM has half a brain to do such a thing. ;) Yeah, it's not really that nice or fair, but hey, if you're incompetent enough to fork over money for a free cit instead of asking the owner of the world first, it's beyond me. Your plan assumes worlds are giving cits out to Alphaworld tourists or something, when most world owners give them away as prizes or to friends for people who actually INHABIT their world. My conclusion is it's prolly a bug in a system that AWCOM has no awareness of, but HEY, more money, why bother to look at where's it coming from. lol. Nornny [View Quote] To all who hate AWJul 1, 2001, 11:27am
I dunno, the more I think about it, I've come to this inner realization...
I'll stay by AW until the cows come home, no matter what they turn into, so long as it's 3D, you can build, and you can chat. If they make an "easier interface," so what? We can just drive out the newbies by constant group attacks on newbies. ;) And in general, nothing's really broken, AW could do a LOT worse. There's no hope in stopping newbies, we'll just have to smarten them up, now won't we? ;) Just go into Juno, and instead of accepting cyber sex requests, tell everyone that the big men are ruining AW and your computer will eventually break down because of AW's bad programming or something. ;) Scare tactics. ;) Nornny [View Quote] To all who hate AWJul 1, 2001, 2:37pm
no, I'm saying that the reason why AWCOM is being forced by companies to
make an easier interface is because the newbies are complaining that AW is too hard to use and maneuver. Newbies can be anything from new BIG corporations who sign a contract with AWCOM. Just smarten those guys up, and the majority will fall with the experienced, not the new. ;) Nornny [View Quote] Reunion Idea?Jul 1, 2001, 11:28am
*note to all the culturally challenged* Pissed does not mean excluding
bodily waste, it means getting drunk off your butt. ;) Nornny [View Quote] [NG Survivor] Towards the merger! The results...Jul 1, 2001, 11:35am
Nornny: Well, before I announce the winner of this challenge, I'd like to
give some news... Leaf: What are you? Dan Rather?? Nornny: No, not THAT kind of news. Wing: Well, we already know Spark is gone, you don't have to rub it in... Nornny: No, not THAT news, either. Would you all just listen?? Gamer: What if I don't want to? Nornny: *flames Gamer* kellee: Well, that was uncalled for. Nornny: *sigh* Can I continue? Syntax:n.... Nornny: It's rhetorical, don't answer. Anyways, this is some GOOD news. With a bit of...haggling...I was able to give you guys a million dollar prize! BirdMike: We're getting A MILLION DOLLARS?!?! Nornny: Not quite... APB: Then what? Nornny: For whoever wins this game, you win... APB: ... Syntax: ... Casay:... Nornny: ONE... Wing:.... SW Chris: ... Nornny: ACTIVEWORLDS... Leaf: ...... Gamer: ....... Nornny: Tee shirt!!!!!!!!! Syntax: *faints* Casay: ECK! kellee: BOOOO!! Wing: Lemme at him!!! BirdMike: Me first!! Nornny: wait...umm...well, you also the title of the Ultimate Survivor of the Community newsgroup. group: Oh..yeah...okay...I guess that works... Nornny: *sigh of relief* Anyways, after telgramming Flagg, and telling him about our situation and game, he agreed to offer the ultimate survivor an AW tee shirt. So everyone wish him a thank you if you see him. AWCOM's not bad for EVERYTHING! ;) Wing: Could you get along with the results? Nornny: Oh right. :) Well, I guess you're all anxious now that you have something to work for. Remember though, you still have up to 10 weeks in this game should you survive, so it's no easy task to win. But let's think about the present. Since spark's sudden and unfortunate resignation from the game, 11 of you remain. After the tribal council tonight, 10 of you, in one form or another, will all merge into one tribe, where the battle becomes not to save your tribe, but to save yourself. Immunity will go to one person, not a tribe full. But, as usual, one person always goes at the end of the week. This diary challenge will determine whether the remaining Facter or the remaining Typo members automatically get placed in the merger, so this is big stuff, especially if you guys come in it with tribal lines and unity. For whoever faces tribal council, vote carefully. Remember, in the end, YOU'RE going for that title of ultimate survivor of the newsgroup and that nice AW tee shirt. Except for 1 person who will be voted off, the other 7 remaining members at the end of the game will be your jury, the people who will vote for you or your opponent to be the ultimate survivor. Oh gosh, I'm thinking ahead again. Anyways, this diary challenge was definately a nice end to the first half of the game. You guys wrote dirty, and played dirty, which is just what I wanted. :) First, bonus points. Many of you wrote multiple diary entries, but barely any of them were ACTUAL diary entries for one, and many of them didn't meet the diary requirements until the 2nd or 3rd entry. Heck, some of you guys still didn't even meet the requirements, but since I'm easy, I'll let you slide with the amount you wrote. Gamer: phew Leaf: I'll say... Nornny: However, Casay did manage to meet requirements in her two entries, so she will recieve 10 extra points for Typo. Casay: Yay! Nornny: Anyways. With that, let's get to the votes. Facter, you got off to a great lead, but Typo nibbled at your butt just behind you. Then, they just ate Facter entirely! lol. By the end of the challenge the results stand: Facter: 227 votes (11%) Typo: 1906 votes (89%) +10 extra points meaning 1916 total votes! Darnit, Facter, we have to face the last tribal council before the merger. And it's getting pretty dark already. If possible, everyone send in their votes ASAP before the end of today? Telegram me the vote or email me at nornny1 at home.com. :) And don't forget to put a little confessional! Cya. Nornny [NG Survivor] Towards the merger! The results...Jul 1, 2001, 11:43am
Oh yeah, tribal council notes on Facter. Btw, community can vote at
http://www.active-worlds.co.uk/survivor/ngcouncil.html as usual. :) And you all darn well better, or else you might get someone totally undeserving winning that Survivor prize! According to the diaries, Nornny is the least likely to survive in the merger. Alphabit Phalpha is possibly in an alliance with Syntax. Gamer's lack of participation in the previous challenge still might be hurting him, even with all of his diary entries. Leaf wrote multiple diaries, but never managed to win any extra points for the tribe. According to the diaries, Syntax's faith and trust in one alliance is nonexistent. Happy Birthday, ActiveWorlds!!!Jul 2, 2001, 12:10pm

That's kind of a depressing thought. You never know what might happen in the
future, to say for sure that AW is going to disappear at any moment is really...cynical? It kind of makes AW life depressing and gloomy to think that, rather than just keeping hope for and drive to AWCOM that it can continue. So they're not making much of a profit these days, I can only imagine they didn't have much to work with in the begining either, and we haven't seen any layoffs or anything from the AWCOM HQ, have we? I hope they're getting fed okay, at least. > > And I'd like to think that the *only* reason that AW has even lasted *this* long is > because of the user-created community. WorldsChat, The Palace, etc were nothing more > than glorified chat rooms. You'd come in, chat with some people, visit another > world/room, chat some more, make your own avatar, chat some more, and that's it. AW > is so much more than that. I firmly believe that if it wasn't for the strong > community we have here, (with things like ComReg, AWEC, Cy Awards, etc) Rick & JP > would have been out on their collective ass a *long* time ago. Now if only "they" > would realize that... Hmm...this is interesting, but now that only Cy Awards is really in existence now, what ARE we to do? :) I dunno, many groups died out and AWCOM DID plummet. But it wasn't the emergence of new groups that brought the company back on its feet, it was Juno. :/ it was, wasn't it? Community keeps the users in, but if they already paid 20 bucks, they're pretty much expendable for all the company cares. Makes more room for new cits. ;) So do we really keep AWCOM together? I wonder, but I don't mind being just another speck in the universe of thousands and millions. So long as I got this newsgroup, some great friends, things to do, and AW for many years to come (Happy birthday guys!!), I could care less about showing off the power of community or anything else. The universe can fit us all. ;) Although, it would be a nice experiment to see what happens if we end all events, worldbuilding, and townbuilding in AW for a year. lol. Nornny Low vs High cit numbersJul 2, 2001, 11:58am
[View Quote]
The first 1,000 or so cits are the lowest you can go. Everyone from grover
to dataman (i believe) fall into this number range. Bsically, the first 1000 were the first people to immigrate here in the first months of AW. >What is the upper low cit > number threshold? let's see, my number is 292538, and that was 2 and a half years ago. So I'd prolly say the first 50,000-100,000 might be upper cit threshold. Anything within the first year of AW would be considered upper low? I dunno, this is just my predictions. Eep would fall into this category if he doesn't already fall in the one above, as would many other of the classic god-like posters in here. ;) Nornny > > [NG Survivor] The 6th to go...Jul 2, 2001, 1:29pm
Well, Factor, should you have won this last challenge, you would've gone in
a merger with a larger headcount. Unfortunately, after tonight, it will be a tie game. However, no one here has yet been able to prove that either of you tribes have Tribal lines yet. That can only be determined at the next tribal council. Should you have NO tribal pride, the game can twist any way you want. But first, we must take out another member of Factor tonight. Let's tally the votes... Oh, remember for whoever that leaves the game 1 vote BirdMike... 2 votes, Birdmike... 1 vote Leaf... 3 votes BirdMike, one more, and you'll be forced to leave the game. 1 vote...Nornny 1 vote BirdMike...that's all the votes that's there, and BirdMike, the tribe have spoken. *extinguishes flame* *Survivor climax* Please procceed off that cliff right there. Factor, you will soon be joining forces with Typo as one tribe, name yet to be determined by yourselves. 6 have gone, and now, it has become an everyone for themselves race. I'll see you at the finish line, either as a contestant or as a host. ;) Await a further post later today or tommorow. <production note> Coincidentally Factor, BirdMike left on Saturday to spend a beautiful week long vacation in Hawaii, so he won't be back until this Saturday, so he'll have no final words yet. I guess getting voted off will just be a small hitch in his beautiful week long vacation, eh? Just wanted to let you guys know. ALSO! The Survivor site is getting redesigned, so excuse the mess. It will hold all the current content, plus new one as the game progresses, as usual, just with some more pizzazz. Keep an eye out for that. I'll upload BirdMike's voting stats soon. Everyone start thinking of a new name for your combined tribe. :)</production note> Nornny [NG Survivor] The 6th to go...Jul 2, 2001, 6:12pm
okay, so I switched the name of a dingo with a wallabee by ACCIDENT! lol,
get off my back or your next in my voting line. ;) But still, dingos are pretty cute too, they are dogs after all... My personal ideal tribe name would be Eepa tribe. ;) But, I'm putting up mini polls on this now. :) Tribe name with the most votes gets the tribe's name for the merger. Nornny [View Quote] And you wonder.....Jul 3, 2001, 11:04am
Duh, because when you came in, there was this whole newsgroup mess, and
eventually, Roland's leak that JP and Rick really don't listen to its customer, which sent everyone on a tilly. Can't blame them, they want to be heard, but the big whigs just aren't listening. But not like any big company really does, try going up to Squaresoft and saying you have the perfect storyline for Final Fantasy 15 or whatever the heck their number is on. lol. Anyways, with AW, at least they're small enough and gave us enough hope at the begining that we could talk to them and keep in touch. Now, they do nothing. Hard adjustment this community JUST isn't about to take, and kudos for it. ;) Nornny PS. I remember just a short year ago, I would see ENZO scuttering around AW and other worlds, either under aliases as Uncle ENZO or even under his real name. Now, he's disappeared off the face of the universe. Shame, really. I wouldn't really mind if he changed names and cits of other ppl like he used to, I heard, if he just stayed around and we could at least say "Hey you big corporate loser! Give me back my name!" [View Quote] [NG Survivor] Let's Merge/ First Immunity ChallengeJul 3, 2001, 6:25pm
Like you haven't already, but this makes it official, you guys have now
become one tribe. No more stick-together-to-beat-the-other-team crap, it has now become I-am-my-own-team-and-I'm-going-to-win. Factor tribe and Typo tribe is no more existent. Those names have gone down with the 6 before you. That tee shirt and title is only 9 more tribal councils away and anything can happen, as usual. Let's first introduce you guys, in case you don't know each other already: From the Factor tribe, there is now 5 members. Syntax: one of the head builders in SW City, the guy has streamers probably posted all of that metropolis. He's likeable, shares good, loyal to tribemates, and has slipped under council radar from tribal council. However, due to a jury vote from kellee, he is left somewhat vulnerable should a tie vote happen, but most of all, resentful of kellee. Leaf: The youngest of the bunch, this AWTeen regular has a lot more in his sleeves than the average kid. Somewhat isolated and ignored because of his lack of newsgroup participation and young age, Leaf has grown a large mental hinder of insanity, believing the newsgroup has turned into a game of Star Wars. Votewise, he just gained one vote by an absent-minded Alphabit Phalpa, also leaving him vulnerable and probably resentful. Leaf is slow to vote, but has so far remained loyal and along the lines. Nornny: This Nornonton resident and AWTeen worker has everything. He's hosting the darn game. Always fair, he's not been able to keep a low profile in this game because of his hosting duties. He accepts that and plays his visibility for himself, rather than against. Although cocky, he has a right to be, he's yet to have any votes on him. Although loyal to his tribe, Typo members are ready to leap on him, especially Wing, when they have a chance. Gamer: He barely posts on this newsgroup, but he's playing the game, keeping a low profile, while keeping his tribemates company for support, especially Leaf. Able to wear many hats, Gamer stays loyal, and hasn't recieved any votes thus far. He's ot a prime target on anyone, but he could be seen as easily disposable by other tribemates. Alphabit Phalpha: The Cy Awards beauty queen. She's spent her Survivor days so far posting Cy news, reading Vogue magazines, and making skimpy dresses out of coconuts and poison ivy leaves. Being the only girl on her old tribe, she comes into the game somewhat isolated from the Factor men, but close to the Typo women, especially Casay, making her extremely dangerous and volatile to break tribal lines. Although never having a vote on her, she's been voting on her gut, rather than the tribe's, leaving Leaf as one in the crossfire. 5 members also are left residing in the Typo tribe. kellee - An Australian superwoman indeed. She takes care of her new baby AND manages to backstab and scheme everyone out of existence. From her voting record, she has a STRONG hate for the SW City contestants, giving SW Chris AND Syntax votes to their list. Out of the three women in the game, she's most independent, spending her time alone rather than bonding with the tribe. She does, however, have 1 vote against her from a now gone Spark. However, she manages to pull strings together when it comes Tribal Council night. Wing- Wing sticks out like a sore rock out of Typo, and does most of the trash talking. However, he's the bonding glue that keeps the tribe together, taking a leadership position right from the begining. Most of Typo has followed, and he's probably hoping most of the Factor members will too. If that happens, he's bound to take the game. Casay- This Objects'D female is tougher than nails, but still sees it fit to co-conspirate with her Vogue friend, Alphabit. Being such good friends, they might be bound to betray lines and become the final two, but who knows. She listens well, and is a good team player. Votewise, she's clinching her teeth at her long gone tribemate, Chuck, who leaves her vulnerable in a tie vote with 1 previous vote. SW Chris- As close as buddies as can be to Factor tribe member, Syntax, he signed up hoping to be on the same team as his SW City friend. Unfortunately, they were placed in enemy tribes. But now, they're together again and who knows if they'll betray their tribes and go up on top. Chris has gotten a vote in his own tribe by kellee, and you can be sure he won't let that slide now that they're competing against each other. Tony M- The charter happy Tony isn't so happy after 6 weeks of gameplay and little food. He's ready to kick some butt. He's so far has stayed down low, being the most undercovered of the usually loud Typo tribe. But he's Typo's secret weapon and vote, showing no signs of disloyalty and besides Wing, being the only member from Typo without any previous votes. Who knows, he could take it all... Well, that's everyone! Your 10 contestants who are so far, yet so close to that million dollar prize. And oh wait...the tribe's name. Well, after polling on the Mini poll, Wing's tribe name wins out by the visistors to the Survivor site with SW Chris's Mango Tribe name following. Therefore, the new merger tribe name is: Koochie Tribe. Unless, Wing and Chris wants to reach a settlement of Manchie, Koocho, Koogo, Mangie as possible names. :) Otherwise, we're sticking to Koochie. So, Koochie tribemates, don't get settled yet, because your FIRST IMMUNITY CHALLENGE starts immediately and ENDS ON FRIDAY! :) You have the whole week to log onto: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor2/games/index.html and play the Survivor fishing game to prove to the tribe you can rack up the most food and stay another week. This works the same way as the cow challenge. Take a printscreen and upload it or send it over to me via email. :)) However, no averaged scores this time. You get the highest score, you win. Should you end in a tie, no one wins and no one gets immunity, so you better be careful no doubt. Should you submit more than one before Friday's end, the one with the highest score is the one I'll use. NON CONTESTANTS: You too can play, but once you submit your score to me, you must include the name of one of the remaining 10 contestants in the game. :) Good luck, and this is probably an IMPORTANT immunity for some of you. Get fishing! We're hungry! Nornny <production note> Feel free to write diaries on your first week as a new tribe. ;) the site has been updated and will continue to be as always. :) [NG Survivor] Let's Merge/ First Immunity ChallengeJul 3, 2001, 10:22pm
Everyone has at least 1 community vote, it seems. It doesn't even play into
the equation unless a tiebreaker tiebreaker occurs. :)) Nornny [View Quote] [NG Survivor] Let's Merge/ First Immunity ChallengeJul 4, 2001, 11:07am
oh yeah, you got a point, I never added that to the previous vote count,
actually, that previous vote count is all screwy anyways with mistakes I made in the first week, just keep track of how many votes you know you have. lol. Nornny [View Quote] NG Survivor DiaryJul 3, 2001, 10:26pm
lol Alphabit, always the fashion-minded of the tribe. But hey, save us at
least some of the meat, we're starving here. :)) kellee's Australian, she's prolly been around the Croc hunter, maybe she can cook us a meal! :)) Nornny [View Quote] [NG Survivor] Challenge Results/Tribal CouncilJul 6, 2001, 9:22pm
Well, basically, you guys pretty much all suck at catching fish for this
hungry tribe, me included. lol. Anyways, Wing beat all of you by a longshot, except for Casay. And amazingly, the Typo members did a heckuva lot better than any of the Factor kids could pull off. Either Factor members are overly confident, or just can't fish. lol. Anyways, the secrets to success in this game was to ALWAYS launch the fishing rope as far back as you could, so you can get the higher scoring fish. And always catch the fish at a close distance to yourself, or else they'll break your pole. Also, alligators will give you 200 points if you reel one in. Here were the scores: Wing: 34555 Casay: 25649 kellee: 6133 SW Chris: 5925 Nornny: 3313 Syntax: 1675 Alphabit: 1518 Gamer: 1320 Leaf: 181 Tony M: -- There you go. Wing, congratulations, you've just gotten immunity from the first Koochie tribal council. You cannot be voted off the game or newsgroup. This might mean more than you think, however, as this also GUARANTEES you in the jury of the last 7 members to be voted off, also. It also brings you one step closer to winning this. No matter what, you'll either decide on who wins the Ultimate Survivor title and tee shirt, or be one of the two people who could win it. Remember, WHOEVER HAS IMMUNITY STILL VOTES. That's right Wing, you still have a vote, your just can't be voted for. One of you from Koochie will have their hopes and dreams shattered however. You'll only make it this far only to have your hopes shattered and no chance for payback. :( Who will it be? Remember also, there are 10 of you, and you might think tribal lines might work for you, but that community vote is still there. I have a feeling it will be the deciding factor of who goes and who stays. We'll see. KOOCHIE: You have until Sunday afternoon to email me at nornny1 at home.com or telegram me in AW with your vote for who goes. Good luck, play dirty. :) Community voting poll will be up at http://www.active-worlds.co.uk/survivor/ngcouncil.html in a few moments. Nornny [NG Survivor] Challenge Results/Tribal CouncilJul 6, 2001, 11:11pm
You play dirty, I play dirtier. ;) I hope you keep a good eye on your little
followers as you do Tony. You know Survivor strategy too well, if Typo knows what's right, and the important fact that I CAN'T win (I can still be in jury however), they'll see I'm more of an asset than you, who will quickly vote ALL their butts to the ground after you finish off Factor. Their loss, not mine, am I right? ;) Nornny [View Quote] [NG Survivor] Challenge Results/Tribal CouncilJul 7, 2001, 12:06pm
You wouldn't be cheating if you were using me or anyone else as a crutch or
security blanket. That's what alliances are for, silly. That's like saying throwing someone out because he's too much competition to you is cheating. You don't get to the top on your own. Cheating wouldn't even be changing the numbers on those web games to suit your needs, or voting on 10 different IPs to get the community vote, or keeping information that someone is going to be offline for a few days to your advantage. :) There's NO such thing as cheating here, it's just dirty, rude, obnoxious, and unfair. The ONLY person here who can truly cheat is me, by going out and actually CHANGING rules around to my advantage, or changing the stats of the polls, or reading the votes and asking ppl to change them. :) Ahh...my game is a game of Temptation Island, not Survivor. lol. Nornny [View Quote] [NG Survivor] The 1st Koochie to leave...Jul 8, 2001, 7:59pm
Well Koochie, you're starving, cold, and stuck in the dark sitting here with
torches surrounding you. I doubt those fish and crocadile meat has craved your hunger. :) Anyways, as you know, this is a very important tribal council, because whoever survives has automatically made it to the jury of 7 people who will ultimately decide the fate of the final two survivors. Knowing which ones will make the final two and which ones won't is a different story. lol. Anyways, let's get on with the votes... 1st vote...Nornny 2nd vote...Nornny 3rd vote...kellee 4th vote...Nornny 5th vote...Alphabit Phalpha? 6th vote...kellee 7th vote...kellee 8th vote...kellee 9th vote...Nornny 10th vote...Tony M.? That's 4 votes Nornny and kellee. 1 vote Bit, and 1 vote Tony. 11th vote... .... .... kellee. Okay, that's the votes. :/ kellee, please bring me your torch. I'm sorry, but the tribe has spoken. :(( *extinguishes flame* *council climax theme plays* Okay, before you leave us, please send us some Final Words on the game. :( Remaining Koochie members, you've survived another your first tribal council together. Now, 7 of you will sit on jury seats, while 2 of you will be sitting where you are now. In the end, one of you will win this Survivor game, courtesy of 7 tribemates and a whole lot of luck. For all the statistics on this close and strange vote, log on to the ng survivor site, recently revamped for all the info. rotfl. You stuffed votes? I just thought you rallied a bunch of people to
vote for me. I know I did for kellee. I guess someone outstuffed you. lol. I had gotten 8 votes and Tony had gotten 9 when I closed the polls. Seriously, it does seem awfully strange to myself. But it would've tied if it hadn't happened, and unless anyone would've changed their vote *glares*, kellee would've had left because of more previous votes. :( Darn, it would've been good awesome drama to see me and kellee duke it out. ;0 Nornny Surviving another day... lol, I'll be ready. :) And yes, it logs votes by IP, so you need a different
IP if you want to vote again, since you're only allowed one vote. :) Nornny [View Quote] More flaming idiotsJul 9, 2001, 11:35am
I must say, it isn't very attractive or appealing to walk into AW and have
the IO screaming at you not to give your password away. It's something not to be ignored, I know, but still, it doesn't give you much of a happy vibe, more paranoish. :) Nornny [View Quote] More flaming idiotsJul 9, 2001, 2:53pm
Well, instead of yelling it, just say "Welcome to Alphaworld, enjoy your
stay! :) And please don't give out your password to anyone. No AWCOM employee will ask for it. Please report anyone that tries to imitates an employee or citizen or uses any other method to try to get your password to a peacekeeper or AWCOM <insert an email address or url>." Smileys help a lot too, and should they read it, they'll be aware. :) It's not your fault if someone loses their password, especially if they read the IO message, so why bother, I wonder. If someone gets bitter and makes a big scene, at least he/she will get even more people aware. :) Maybe have a wall of shame on the website or a list of all the methods to get a password that you have seen so others are aware. :)) Those always help. So be it if they're too stupid. Don't even bother to give them any regard if they don't care to read about password safety and have an AWCOM imitator steal their password, because i doubt you want a citizen that stupid running around in AW. Rick and JP might want to attract the dumb masses, but I don't think ANYONE in the universe wants AW to fall to that level. I mean, look to see how much we hate Juno. lol. Well, first, a production note. We've moved the whole Survivor website into
a new web server. The active-worlds.co.uk one is unreliable and is about to be taken down. You can find the Survivor headquarters now at http://awlife.net/survivor/ngsurvivor.html Easier to remember url anyways. ;) So, instead of wasting this post, might as well post an Immunity Challenge early. :) This one is one of the easiest challenges you'll ever have to do, but it's way harder to win also. The point of this game is to give immunity to the most invisible person in the tribe. Here's how it works. This post will act as the immunity ball. Right now, the immunity ball is just sitting on the ground surrounded by newsgroup posts. ANYONE can pick up this ball, player or nonplayer alike, by just replying to this thread. But, with your reply, you must also have the name of a contestant who you want to pass it to. Whatever contestant has the ball has lost immunity, but now must pass the ball to another contestant to lose immunity. In the end, the last contestant holding the ball will win immunity. Simple. Here's an example: Goober King replies to this thread and decides to pass the post to Nornny. Nornny passes to Casay Casay passes to Wing Wing passes to Alphabit Alphabit passes to Gamer Gamer passes to Leaf Leaf passes to Syntax Syntax passes to Tony Tony passes to SW Chris Chris wins the game, being the last survivor to get the ball. Strategy of course can come into play here, by planning how and who you're going to pass the post to. If by Wednesday, no one has picked up the ball, whether that be a regular poster or one of the survivors willing to lose immunity, THERE WILL BE NO IMMUNITY and everyone goes to Tribal Council vulnerable. Remember, once you pick up the ball, you can ONLY pass it to a contestant, not another non-player. And all you have to do to pass is to reply to the thread with a name of who you're passing it to. Good luck Koochie. Nornny [NG Survivor] new url/Immunity ChallengeJul 9, 2001, 6:40pm
Yeah, Justaposter grabbed the ball first, so BirdMike's wouldn't count. :(
However, since Justaposter threw the ball to Leaf, Leaf's pass to me does still count, unfortunately. :/ Nornny [View Quote] |
