$160,000 a year personal pay? Thats $13,333.33 a month, $3333.33 a week. Subtract $200 for food (Assuming they're into the health
food stuff or have 5 kids) weekly, $3000 montly for a new Dell computer that could easily be built for $1000, that leaves about....
$113600. Pay the bills, build a house, a few new cars (A humvee and a corvette would do) and you're flat broke. Thats hard livin
Eep.
Just wondering, where'd the 160k figure come from?

What the HELL do you (and your sleazeball buttbuddy JPeePee) need $160K/year for? What the FUCK do you do to earn it? Roland should
be the one getting that kind of money, NOT you--he does FAR more work to keep AW alive and going than you do or even have...EVER!
What would you do if he went on strike, hmm? Who would be able to get up to speed quick enough before AW died out? You'd be strapped
by your piddly little balls is what YOU'D be, punk. So you better start listening to him and stop treating him like shit or you WILL
see AW go under--don't EVER fucking doubt that...EVER!

Your long messages are the only really good ones here. Don't get rid of them.
Anyway, I share your thoughts about them pretty well missing the point. I also thought better of Flagg's people skills, but no
longer.
I feel that a large number of the people that signed the letters were what are known as "me-too's" that just saw an oppertunity to
get with the "in crowd" and jumped on it. I figure that in terms of actual, strong-willed support, there were maybe 10 people at
most. But honestly, what do you expect from a community of mere children? Cybersex and paintball are their AW lives (Generalizing,
don't waste time flaming kiddos) and they don't know any better than to try to be cool and look older and more mature. Though they
make us look more impressive in numbers, they can't back us up.
While we've essentially lost this critical battle, don't count the community out yet. Some people really care and will stand at your
side Goober, I'm one of em. Just finding them is a task all unto itself. There are vehicles of communication not yet even tried.
These newsgroups and awnews.com only get so much use. While it's easy to just post here and post there, it's apparently not working.
However, even if we track down every Activeworlds website, every Ad banner rotation, every world owner willing to put up a message
and every little "organization" that isn't gonna fall apart, we may not do anything but just increase awareness. Though it may not
be the best fruit, it's still fruit. Even if it fails entirely, at least there was an attempt.
If AW were to go terminal, what would happen? Most everyone would walk their separate ways, or remain with their cliques of newfound
friends, many wondering if there was something they could have done. Then there will be the few that know they tried to do...
She aint under yet, but she sure is sinkin. But this aint the Titanic, we fix her.

Taken. However, it does hold itself in parallel to some experiences on the citizenship level and some other posts I recall from the
past few years. In particular with regard to Vectorscape... But it did seem rather odd how the original (cancelled post's)
timestamp was so much earlier than the retraction post. When I say somthing stupid (Which I do quite often) I either weather the
storm or post a retraction within minutes. As for who I think you are, at times, I'm quite convinced that some of you are
reincarnated dead dictators (Stalin, Hitler, etc) and members of the Italian maffia.

As far as I can tell, they'll have no obligation. However, Rick said they'd listen. He's going to get held to that. I'd think they'd
give answers why and why not to each one of the concerns voiced to them. Perhaps take an organized list from an open forum of
citizens more seriously than even their suggestion box, which has little to no exposure outside of these newsgroups.

Hello everyone!
i know a really kewl universe i have been at for like 6 months or more now, i now own a world there, and there are fantastic people
there!
its not to busy like AW and there are only like 20 users on at a time , allthough you may wonder how i get on with only 20 users
on?, thats because most of them are citizens on my contacts!
right now there are 16 users on-line and 8 online on my contacts!, i know there is a nice amount of citizens here: last time i
looked there was 2009,
This universe is called DREAMLAND PARK!

Keep in mind that you've long been factored into the equation. Suck filter.

Using a GeForce II MX 32mb and a Crystalvision/PiXie 19" monitor running at 1280x1024 res I can't reproduce it. This is true for
both straight into power saving or screensaver into powersaving. I'm waking via mouse, not keyboard.

This most definitely has somthing to do with your video memory being full. The same situation sometimes causes the AW viewport to
appear on your taskbar buttons, etc. It has nothing little to do with how long AW has been on, and more with how many textures
you're seeing, their sizes, and how much video RAM the rest of your computer is sucking.
What video card do you use? How much memory does it have? OS?
Aug 5, 2001, 6:07pm
TNT2 128mb's? Heh, 128mb video cards cost upwards of $2000 and don't come in TNT2's. Don't confuse system and video RAM.

*shrug* Old school tech specs. RAM and video never go together like that :)

I'm behind that, I particularly enjoy the idiots that tell you once a week not to reply if you don't want to be on their contacts
anymore when you don't even KNOW them and when you don't reply, they just tell you not to reply if you wanna be taken off in another
week. Even replying "TAKE ME THE HELL OFF DAMMIT" doesn't get the job done.

objective the CU takes to get AWC to implement into AW. It's just ridiculous how many spammers and people can abuse telegrams and
just be annoying PESTS that I'm surprised AWC hasn't implemented these things SOONER.

22. People telling me to read one of my own newsgroup posts (Happens to me anyway, some awfully dumb people seem to like my

46. Will you be my <opposite sex of yourself>friend?
47. Hi, I'm from AWCI and I saw your bot at Alphaworld ground zero (The bot was actually more than 3000 coords away, I've never been
THAT lame). One more time and you lose your account (This actually occured to me two years ago, guess who lost their account?)
48. I'm new to computers and i wanna no how u make urs have so many big numberz so mine can 2

33xxxx or higher citnum or the word syber or yiff is used)

And doesn't even require much effort, only browser-side changes. I assume telegrams arrive at the browser tagged only by citnum,
this should be checked against the ignore list, which is stored as citnums in a TXT file.
If it finds it, it deletes it. Quick, simple, clean.
