2) This belongs in the wishlist NG, but not community
3) In the future, please post a link instead of a graphic
4) The web tab button is missing because.... (Pressing it could kick you out of fullscreen)?
5) The tabs are enabled because.... ?

Alphaworld and AWGate are exceptions to the rule even more than Yellow and Mars are. Somthing is ALWAYS going on in Alphaworld,
though you'll be damned if you try to find it. AWGate is the landing world, so n00bs are always there doing... Whatever n00bs do.

As agent said, how are we to know if we aren't told? I'm sure a few public appearences that don't amount to running around GZ as a
blimp and some attention for those of us that know what in the hell we're doing. Fix the problems with building that only the most
elite run into on a regular basis. It may not get you any new users, but it'll keep us coming back for more, and making less work in
the longrun for you.
Show up at the Cys, speak to us. 90% of the crowd won't have the damndest clue what you're talking about, but those of us who do
will know. We'll know. Don't use your hiding accounts all the time. Doesn't mean you have to answer ALL our telegrams, maybe one a
day.
Go world hopping, see the sights of the universe. Check out some of the famous builds and cities in Alphaworld. This way you'll
truly get an idea of what Activeworlds is like in the general community, not in these rather heated newsgroups. Sure, you'll get
your egos hurt a lot at first, but once you come out of hiding, stuff will calm down, once you start giving us legitimate reasons
why not or actually implementing some ideas, we'll play even nicer. However, there are some of us, who have perfectly good ideas
(Eep) that can go on and on about the negative side indefinitely, so don't expect to please him, ever. But do listen to him. Many of
his ideas are feasable and logical, as well as useful.
Though these may not be the most... Productive ways to spend time, you'll make us happier, maybe intice a few new citizens to
register, improve the software to a point where more of us want to buy worlds to use it to it's fullest in.
Corperate deals won't make money forever, eventually interest will slacken off if there isn't a broad base of users to prove that
the software is actually useful.

Eep, table abuse is the only way to get it to look right and be modular at the same time. At one point the layout for my website
featured 150 different table cells, almost every one of them containing a graphic (Was a BITCH for dialup, hence why I lost it)
Sure, the tables can be a problem with Netscape since not all (any?) versions support invisible table borders, but it looks
professional to 99% of the PC population (Mindless M$-tards)
About modularity and why it's neccessary... Would you rather A) Edit ALL your pages for a link, particulrly if it's graphical and
the site is graphics intensive or B) Delete the old link on the include and install the new one
I wouldn't go throwing your website out as an example of a fine HTML, though it takes seconds to load on dialup, it simply DOESN'T
sell (Which is not your goal by the way. The main purpose of my website is to sell my skills to an employer, the main purpose of
Fac's site is to sell AW.)

AOL owns everything on the Windows platform that M$ doesn't. Unfortunately the only serious instand message choices are AIM and ICQ.
The latter is better, but turning into Adware (unless they took that off in one of the updates I don't ever bother downloading
anymore because they just turn it more and more like AIM) and the former is a pain in the ass that little kiddies like to use.
"I like to go on AOL when I get home!"

controls. (PLEASE teach your daughter the difference between AOL and the internet so I don't find the need to do so when she's 20

Unfortunately, do to the way AW is designed, it is IMPOSSIBLE to function without editing the application, simply because each
program uses the same Windows class and AW's code says that if the class is already in use, a browser instance CANNOT be opened. The
only possible way is to CHANGE the class on each copy.

I made the same mistake. Grr. And I was on a 9600bps connection at the time. Hadda terminate the connection and redial to all 12
local dialup numbers a couple times. And no other ISP with affordable rates (ie not $1 an hour beyond 100 hours) is available
either. AND NO I'M NOT MOVING OUT OF HICKVILLE.

Five years behind the norm? I don't recall the Win95 Inbox (Wasn't called Outlook back then kiddos) supporting HTML. It's not an
issue of software, though many people consider it one. It's an issue of location. AW is a multinational program. In many areas, the
downloading of HTML is certainly not economical. In many parts of the United States (I happen to live in one) it certainly isn't
time-friendly (Visit Hereford, we get 28.8 connections at the fastest due to crappy available ISPs and oftentimes as slow as
9600bps. Does anyone comprehend how SLOW this is?) In fact, one of the TWO (Most of you get choices, we don't even have AOL to half
of the area) ISPs servicing this area charges a BUCK AN HOUR.
Also, it royally screws quoting. Note that your HTML post is not quoted at all in my plaintext post. It promotes total idiots to
post gigantic pictures (1280x1024 full quality JPEG screenshot of their innanely colorful desktop sound fun?). Trust me, there ARE
idiots like that here. *sigh* What am I trying to fight it for? WinXP's release is going to screw up everything I fight for,
everthing I do, everything I love. HTML will be unstoppable, total idiots (more than now) will be using computers and pretending to
be hackers, worms like Code Red will be realized, AW will no doubt be completely overrun by retards (As if we havn't already...)
KAH's shit fit may not have been appropriate, but neither is HTML. The NNTP protocol was certainly not designed for HTML, that's
what HTTP is for.

Nice try (b)Eepite...
Like, your rant is going to influence anyone...
For those new to the NG, note the complete lack of any mention re: why one would still be using software that's over 5 years behind
the norm. (Daddy won't let you DL/instal anything new?) Instead we get a diatribe, in upper case with 4-letter words no less,
attempting to influents everyone that they are correct and anyone who disagrees is wrong.
When my first born was 2 she use to do the same thing. We called it a temper tantrum. A swift swat on the backside (this was before
the 'bleeding heart's' decided it was better to raise children without instruction) a number of times and she learned to behave
herself... (it appears your youth is showing)
Alas, your type never learn... MUTE...

It'll still have to download em unfortunately, which is most of the problem.

They're listening, but their comprehension skills need a little work... Read Goober's letter and then their reply. Do the replies
truly fit the letter? Loosely, yeah. But they missed the point of it all. Touchable, tangible proof for ya.

I thought you said they listened...
Anyway, Fac and Flagg have always gotten back to me in fairly rapid order, except on weekends, as has Roland. I'm thinking the mail
server ate some messages because both justin and now tony have said that their emails weren't answered, and in the case of justin,
never recieved.
