E N Z O's & JP's Perseverance!!!!! (Community)
E N Z O's & JP's Perseverance!!!!! // Communityaw explorerAug 2, 2001, 2:10pm
The last time I spoke with E N Z O was at the Transcend meeting in 1999.
The last time I spoke with JP was in 1999 and it was a question in regards to 13th Floor ownership of art. To my knowledge, I have not spoken to any AWCOM employee, except for citizenship info or technical help in a very long time and I am not employed by them. In regards to answering questions about the source of the message. True, I did not follow what most people would call newsgroup protocol in commenting on a message posted here; but on the other hand, I refuse to answer a question posed to me in such a way that is derogatory to E N Z O or JP. If Eep wants the source, he should explore the newsgroup in more detail. Speaking of which, I am not following protocol now am I? Lastly, I will say again, E N Z O's statement in regards to his hardships that he, his family, his friends endured during trying to maintain Active Worlds, in my opinion, should have been shared long ago. We are so fortunate to still be able to (for 5 cents a day) be a part of such a unique community. In my opinion, AWCOM does not charge enough. $19.95 every 6 months sounds fair to me. On a lighter note, now I wonder, did E N Z O have to walk 5 miles one way barefoot in the snow to buy a box of floppies!!!!!! :) AW Explorer [View Quote] eepAug 2, 2001, 2:52pm
Yo, newbie twit, learn how to keep the OLD subject in the subject header after you change it.

you stupid twit! they did a bit of work many years ago, but now they're rich
and don't care about anything else than getting richer... E N Z O told that hearthbraking story so that stupid gnomes like you would feel sorry for him & JP. it's a well known tactic, but maybe you didn't know that. and you can't know if it's true anyway, and it's a very weird way of talking to the community, a man in E N Z O's position should understand that he should have done something a little more direct... E N Z O doesn't want to look into your eyes, you see, not even your virtual eyes as he would have had to if he had said this in AW... and I think his love for AW has been weakened by his love for money... Yea, Rick isn't even in charge of AW's development anymore really according to Roland, who claims JP's been the one making AW's design decisions for the past year or so...so it seems JP "owns" Rick.

Once again, how are we to *really* know unless they get involved in the "community"?

Actually neither Rick nor JP has the faintest idea what the hell is going on
hehe. Whomever is making the "design decisions," Roland is in charge of development. This is fairly common in software companies altho in this case management is even more clueless than average. :) [View Quote] [View Quote] american policeAug 3, 2001, 3:47pm

Exactly! I simply don't trust Fac.

Uh, Roland told me so himself that JP has been in charge of AW's development direction for about the past year, Rus...ask Roland if you don't believe me. <shrug>

Exactly. $20 is also psychologically very little money to spend, but $40... Though still not a lot, that LOOKS like a TON of cash.
