No one's stopping you from making a weatherbot; it's not as if the idea was Brant's.
(just look at AWC's crappy attempt :P) However, if you were to make one almost exactly like it, using the same code, the same time schedule, the same backdrops, etc, *then* that would most definitely be copyright infringement, and Brant could sue yer ass for all you're worth. Selling it would probably be bad. I don't think the AW SDK licsense allows for sale.
