Seems AW just went all odd..
I couldn't enter just now, and tried again to find 22 users and 64 worlds..
AWGate and such were all down.
As I got into AW, the Customs Aide came online about 2 minutes after me..
and the Chess bot seems the same;
[AW GameBot]: has taken too long to move. is the winner of this checkers
game!
[AW GameBot]: has taken too long to move. is the winner of this chess game!
Anyhow, seems to be recovering now..with a load of people all visiting AW..
I couldn't help but post.

Are they attempting to charge money for this illegal service?
If so, they won't be around for long.
It's one thing stealing AWI's software.
It's another thing stealing AWI's income.

I agree with you.. sounds a lot like scare tactics to detur the others..
I know that if I was running such pirated software, after reading that
email, I'd be formatting my hard drive as fast as anything.
Of course thats not the case here.. they still seem to be operating..
And just to add, I do find juvenile a little out of the question.. The
parents should not suffer. Obviously, they should be monitoring what their
kids do, and they should suffer a fine for this, but watching teenagers
online is a lot harder than keeping an eye on them if they go and hold up
the local liquor store.
I cannot really explain what I mean, but I just say they are getting a
little excited on these lawsuits and punishment, if it is true.

Remind me, is there tourist building in AW world yet? Prehaps AWI can enable
tourist building in AlphaWorld, just so the invited do not think this is
some pre-built chat.
They should enable it from 12AM from the first timezone which reaches that
time and disable it again when the last timezone reaches that time the
following day, therefore everyone getting a good go.
Also, throw me some work, I need something to do desperately. Just telegram
Equin0x -- maybe if you can turn some heads at the AWI offices, they can
give you some world to actually help those who are invited, as the Gate
isn't well documented on what people can do.
Everyone I talk to believes theres nothing to do in AW as they have no idea
that it is so limitless with what they can do.

What they are trying to do is have it set on a object path at the universe
scale.
Of course, the feature would be an option to dis/enable for the world
owners, so that some avatars are not out of place for themed worlds and that
some family-orientated worlds are not abused in that way.
Yes, I know it will work.. It's just they need to think of some of the
things that a few lines of code cannot do, like monitor all the vulnerable
results of allowing users to use custom avatars.

God knows how it got there, but in my Active Worlds/Splash folder I've
somehow obtained a "Titanic3D" splash image.
I'm particularly interested with Titanic, and love interactive reproductions
of the ship.
The image has a picture of the modelled Titanic on it, which looks just
lovely. Looks like someone put some work into it.
Was going to ask if anyone else heard of this, and how I get in.. Just seen
the AWEU icon on it, so I checked there site..
Downloading now.. Looks good though.
