"The Activeworlds Corporation" in BIG letters.
That's the name of the company. That's what it is on the stock market. Its

And just to kill any thoughts that Activeworlds Corporation and AWI are
still the same (yeah, I know, changing my arguement, but I found proof
against it >:-P) and that is their stock:
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/a/awld.ob.html (-:
"Activeworlds Corp. has no business operations. The Company was engaged
in the business of providing Internet software products and services that
enabled the delivery of three-dimensional content over the Internet through
Activeworlds, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary. The Company operated this
business until July 10, 2002, when it entered into an agreement to sell the
subsidiary to its former management. The sale closed on September 9,
2002, at which time it became inactive. The Company is now seeking business
opportunities. Activeworlds has no target under consideration, it has very
limited sources of capital and it probably will only be able to take
advantage of one business opportunity. It has not identified any business
opportunity that it plans to pursue, nor has it reached any preliminary or
definitive agreements or understandings with any person concerning an
acquisition or merger."

As I said before, a democracy and entire seperate country for AW would be
nice, but it isn't realistic. Activeworlds Inc is a company, not a country.
It would be hard to enstate any kind of government within the program,
though I'm sure it would work a LOT better than the awkward system of rules
they have now.

Don't leave AW, at least wait until your cit expries (>:-P). I've been
thinking of leaving, but it really just seems pointless. I mainly go on AW
when I don't have much else to do, or am tired of doing work. I have bots
I've never finished, bots I've never released, bots I've never fixed, and
bots which fall into more than one of these categories. I haven't really
used ANY of my objects, not to mention releasing them. These are not reasons
to leave. Only if you are completely and utterly bored with it I would think
that if you've already put in so much time that leaving is pointless, or it
at least makes everything you did pointless.

Usually I'm nice to you, but this is just so incredibly stupid that I feel

over the internet? And what about mental torture? Can't you just leave the
place on the internet your in?
"There is a very diverse culture here. Each person comes here with their
own
unique personal situation. Noone should be tortured here. Instead,
influencing a good quality of life, moral actions and taking an interest in

"I don't know anything about your AW life, since I haven't run into you in
the worlds yet. But from what I have read in the news groups, I am assumeing
that you don't own a world. I sugest that if you buy a small world, and made
it a non public build world, then learned to model, so you could fill your
world with what ever makes you happy, you would have a much better time in
AW. REALLY!!! You should try that. Right now it seems that in AW you are
detached and are looking for attention. You should stop looking for
attention and just settle down. And building your own world would be a
perfict way to do that. I REALLY think you would be happy as the ruler of
your own world."
