Hi, thanks for your reply. When you start the Active Worlds browser and
there are several telegrams waiting for you it shouldn't be any sound for it. Only after you have started the browser and then recieve new telegrams the sound even should be activated. How about a simple short beep when a telegram arrives? The rest I can answer since I dont know anything how it works, sorry. But I'm not a programmer or has the knowledge how such things work. Perhaps someone else in this ng can answer that. I use FrontPage 2000. In my opinion the best HTML code writer. You can
change code manually if you want, use of Java and JavaScript and most script languages. Easy to handle, easy to maintain your web site if the host use FrontPage Extensions. Tables are easy to make and to maintain :-) My site is made entirely with FrontPage 2000. -- Regards, Beardo http://medlem.tripodnet.se/beardo/ [View Quote] Re: HRML editors (Was: Re: HTML posts)Sep 11, 2001, 12:00pm
In FrontPage 2000 you can set the code to be for both IE and Netscape. To
my knowledge you couldn't do that with earlier versions of FrontPage, but now you can. You can also use the built-in HTML editor to make the code exactly as you want, or use the wysiwyg editor to see how it looks. What quality is the CD's? Very cheap ones can be bad and cause error when reading the CD. Have you checked the connections inside your computer to the CD drive? Might be a loose cable. A little tip, when burning a data CD try using a writing at 4x speed. Sometimes burning at higher speed can cause the data to be unreadable. #2nd Happens to me sometimes, I loose 15GB of space on my HD. But if I do Scandisk from windows it goes away and everything goes back to normal.
