correction, I apologize, still waking up. I saw password and got ballistic,
didn't see privilege.

However, tell people on the front page to change their ppw right after
signing on. I know you probably aren't someone to collect them, but someone
else but see this as an opportunity to cause nasties.

that's so that people won't abuse it by looking for secret locations... and
if you used your brain you'd see that it's SSL encrypted, no one can get
your PPW. I'm sure you've used Preston, Chatbot or something, wich is made
by the same ppl, so if you've done that you've allready taken the risk of
giving the authors the possibility to get your PPW. the PPW is for a bot
that logs in to confirm if it really is you. and not all that much can be
done using your PPW, you could just change it for the test and reset it
after you've searched, then you'll be out of danger.

I only use Xelagot, and I have no problem trusting Xelag. I have seen no
complaints against him. We are not talking about a program, but a webpage.

Webpages are easier to setup than a program, hence more chances of personal
data to be collected. If the ppw didn't mean something, we wouldn't have
it. Now, you go use your brain.

well, FYI it's dead easy to get a bot to transfer info back to the author as
long as you can program. But you didn't know that, huh? now, that utility
has been written by Ima Genius and Faber. They'we also written one of the
most popular bots in AW, the Preston. So, whit them it won't matter wether
it's a bot or a website. Check your FACTS first! (maybe you don't know what
that means, be sure to consult a dictionary, you learn new things every day,
huh?)

are you freaking paranoid or what? every time you
use a preston it sends data back to the owners
anyway.... they say they do it only to see which
bots are being used... which is probably true. i
think xelagtos do that too but not sure
calm down man theres almost no way anyone except
the authors can get your password and its just a
privilege password which is only bots and
building/world rights its not likethey can log
into your name and steal your identity

ivehad a couple towns so those have a lot of
objects... i really have no idea where THAT
MANYcame from i havent really builtatons of houses
or stuff. i had that cit for 2 years so i guess 2
years of going from spot to spot and neverreally
remembering teleports caused that to happen lol
