I have.
Several times. A fully functional bot scripting language and a simple D++
compiler.
Complete with if and split functions.

I posted this because I didn;t realise that the newsgroups were designed for
fighting and arguing.
I thought they might be to discuss aw and maybe help people with questions
and queries. And I also thought it was a place to post information and not
somewhere where every bit of information posted is contradicted or put down.

Non-Encroachment is currently on the server anyway:
if you make the browser think you're a diff cit than you are by editing the
memory and build over that cits land, it doesn't allow u.

We are talking about with registry. It would involve a new right...
designated "non-registry" areas or areas for designated people to build on

on a similar subject:
what if you could send a tgram like this:
if r:y then make the other user's aw send a gram back when received (of
course they would need a bit so it didn't go round SHow status).
R:Y
Hello....blahblah.
if its just:
Hello.....blahblah.
then its the same as R:N.
This would be excellent, email has it!

I think AW should have fog areas...although Mr Brain informed me that atcual
fog in an area all the time is impossible I suggested this:
Have it so as you get closer to the area, the fog slowly builds up... it
would RULE!

All the world server would need to do is forward this click to the browsers
as if the user of that browser had clicked it.

You could add a simple boolean check to see if its a passed on.
I am also saying for "activate=shared visible a off"
[View Quote]"technozeus" <TechnoZeus at usa.net> wrote in message

> Actually, that's probably something that you wouldn't want it to do...
first, because if the browser can't distinguish between a real click and a
passed on click, it could send the forwarded click back to the world server,
causing an endless loop. Second, because not all clicks on objects by one
person do things that other people would want to also have done on their
end. For example, if I click an object with an Activate URL command on it,
you may not want your web browser to open the associated web page.

Why not:
Are you sure you wish to delete this object?
Are you sure you wish to delete these 5 objects?
Are you sure you want to make that change?
Are you sure you want to make that change to these 5 objects?

Perhaps when a person does a delete, the selected objects could be placed in
local temporary storage, to make an undelete possible. Perhaps, a Build
Menu could be added to the main AW menu bar, with Edit, Move and Rotate
flyouts, to replace those menus in the Object Properties dialog box, and
allow access to Undo while no objects are selected.

if aw disconnects people each time on certain video modes.

I mean IDEAs....techy or not.

> That depends on how you define most requested.

expect to have a good technical understanding of it. Some are afraid to
tell someone who they think will look at it in a technical way because they
don't feel qualified to discuss it on that level. Some write in letters to
a specific employee of the company or a specific department. Some post
their ideas here in the wishlist newsgroup. Some use a combination of many
different ways to get their point across. Some people confide in the same
person every time, if they even tell anyone at all, and other people message
everyone they can think of about it. Some are calm and quite about it while
others are loud and persistant. Some people find that using as few words as
possible is their preffered style, and others like to go into excessive
detail. (That one would be me, by the way.) So while I can tell you many
frequently requested additions, I don't think anyone is really fully
qualified to say which are the "most" requested features unless you mean
specifically which ones they personally have heard requested most often or
by the most people.
