I'm assuming you can't mask pictures loaded from the create picture command
though.. JPG format doesn't support it.

The wording is NOT exactly the same. However it contains similar
information. There is a finite amount of information available about
building, you know. I'm sure Syntax didn't mean to copy the layout of your
wording, but that's just how it happened. Syntax, perhaps you should go
through and reword the part he's talking about?

Are you loopy or something? We didn't copy you word for word. All the

information is public domain, it's not copyrighted by you, and you didn't

I understand you wanting credit for that information, but that's not
something we are prepared to do at this moment because we did not use your
page as a source in any way, shape, or form. Believe it or not, but you or
kellee's pages aren't the only source of information on advanced building
techniques.
I read the help files. And what I didn't glean from there, I gleaned from
SW Comit, Syntax, or my own ingenuity. I didn't look at your page in any
shape or form. i.e. Public domain.
Now if you want to tone down your remarks just a wee bit, and look at this
from both sides, like I'm trying to do (albeit with some difficulty), then
you and I can meet somewhere and talk this out, mano au mano. Then we can
negotiate.

We found a work around. Observe:
create animate me . 1 1 15000,astart;adone texture carpet1 name=c1,astart
This textures the objects once every 15 seconds instead of as fast as the
CPU can handle it. takes up 4 more characters or cell space, but I think
it's worth it to preserve the frame rate.

What, you haven't noticed the frame rate increase around Treasure Ship Row?
:) Btw... I took the liberty of converting your animates at the casino

controlled textures.

First problem you'll run into is all the morons out there who will fill up
their contact list with people they don't know and then repeatedly press
that button and spam everyone. Second problem is only those who don't
understand that people don't care whether they're on a contact list or not
send those messages. And most of the time, those types of people are
newbies.

New idea! A Colony Server, where people can dial into another's machine and
build in a world with unlimited space. It can only support something like
15-20 users, but cannot connect to any universe or be run as a universe.
The only way to gain access is with the host's IP address, which is similar
to how multiplayer games work. It should be relatively cheap to buy, too.
As far as limitations go, the object path must be a local path. It can't be
hosted.
I haven't worked out all the details though, so feel free to add to the
idea. This would be great to market as a retail product. :)
