Now one could make a sheperd dog bot, and then try to get the deer in a shed

Deer are quite easily frightened. But anyways, if you would program a flock
of lions instead of deer, you can still make them scared of anything you
want, rabbits for example. So if you make the deer frightened of the dog,
they will run away.

Make a tree bot, you can "seed" some trees somewhere, they start to grow,
get bigger, get old, die, drop their leaves, flower, create other trees -
and a whole forest over time!!

It's fairly simple to cope with these problems. The forestbot should keep
track of all of it's trees, anyway, to make it able to grow them. So, it is
easy to have a maximum of, say, 1000 trees at a time. And to save the list
of trees, so it can keep on growing after a restart or something. And
finally, it can just delete all of its trees when it wants.

Well, it's not really for you to decide whether he is doing a deer bot too

But he'd have told me if he were.

Why don't you just post the list? What keeps you from doing it, apart from
because Roland asked you to?
Why aren't the users allowed to see the list in the first place?

Ah, yes, more important things...like what, hmm? File transfer, ejection, a
color command, and other crap? World light source control is just ONE of
MANY things on my improvements list at http://tnlc.com/eep/aw/improve.html.
Now, I'm not saying those other things that've been implemented are nice and
all, but to what priority are they added to AW? AW's so-called priorities
seem a tad skewed. And I've seen Roland's list of AW bugs/improvements (the
last one from 10/26/98) and can tell you that maybe 5-10% of the things on
it have been done. I'd post "The List" here but Roland has asked me not to
(although with the way he's been treating me lately--completely ignoring
me--I may just post it just so everyone can see how stagnant AW's
development truly is... (Ask him if you don't believe I have it.) I've been
in AW for over 2 years now, Jeremy, so I know AW's development history for
over half of its existance.

>AWCI just doesn't seem to add what the MAJORITY of its users want. For
example: custom avatars. This was rumoured to be added to AW 2.1 way back
when it was in beta and before. Where is it? Multiple object copy was also
another lie. Roland said this would be implemented "soon" after multiple
object select/delete was. Where is it? I'd say at least being able to delete
multiple objects should take priority before being able to transfer files
through AW, eh? These are just 2 examples of the MANY times things like this
have happened since I've been in AW. And this is just yet another example of
how AWCI doesn't listen to what its users want.

Oops...only one slight problem. World light source control isn't implemented
in AW. I suggest everyone who thinks world light source control would be
VERY cool to have to email Roland (mailto:roland at activeworlds.com) and ask
him to implement it. It's time AWCI gets priorities from the people who
actually USE AW and not from its out-of-touch management (E N Z O and JP).

Indeed, they COULD interfere. And if they do, just rename them in the file
that imports the commands. Easy enough. But I don't know about and IRC SDK,
too. However, the IRC protocol is open. If you do a search, you can find
it's complete specifications quick enough. So you don't need an SDK.

That's what a voodoo rush is good for: no avatars in sight and I get over
50fps at 120m visibility. :-) And yes, there are buildings around the place
where I got these figures. btw I heard Enzo say at the avatars98 that "d3d
support will be added soon (within the year or so)". So, there are
possibility's.
