I've seen the statistics on brain filesize :) But that gives a LOT of people in this world too much credit.

I live in a world of stupid people...
Even though I'm smart enough to know this,
I'm still dumb enough to live.

Well, if that's true he doesn't know much about file formats - but you
don't seem to know the difference between knowledge and intelligence.

Oh, and you should check your knowledge about possible file sizes,
here are 2 links that might help you :
http://www.abbottloop.org/alconweb/i_c_r/zbrain.htm
http://www.jimpinto.com/writings/symbiotic.html
If you do not find a medium that can take the required amount of data
you will hardly be able to create a single file that can contain all
the informations a brain can hold.

Amen that. The social rejects of AW with GIGANTIC contact lists of every single citizen would make a game out of logging on and
watching everyone "leave"

Hrmm. 26 drives max, letters A and B need to be reserved to floppy, so that's 24. At 100 gigs a drive, that's 2,400 gigs. Which is
two terrabytes. Human brain size is approximately 10 terrabytes, and we just MAY be overestimating that because we think we're so
special.

I was simply proving his 1000x maximum electronic storage statement wrong in my own little way. 2.4x1000=10? Um no.

I can pick out only EXTREMELY select and VERY vague images from nine years ago at max. Hell, I don't even know what I wore
yesterday. For the most part, only very traumatic images are stored for later retrieval. Not too much extra space unless you've been
to war or the like.

Um? It wouldn't unless you were on beta :)
3.0 and 3.1 display everything the same with the exception of light. If you're not into people seeing things ever so slightly
different, eject all the people still running 2.2, they see a HELLUVA lot different than people running a slightly faster version of
3.1 with another notch added onto the first decimal.

Precisely. In fact, even after YEARS of having hidden files visible, I still forget to turn it back on after a simple reformat for
at least a few hours, if not weeks. (Reformats are regular maintinence on my machines will less than 2 gigs of disk space)

A simple form of encryption would take the PPW, convert it into a string of numbers (A=1 B=2 Z=26) and the numbers in the PPW into
letters (1=A 2=B) and then perform the same conversion on the screenname of the owner, throw out spaces, add together the numbers
for the user's name and add the total to each entry in the converted PPW, except for the letters which would remain the same (these
were originally numbers). To decrypt the conversion would be performed on the user's name again and then subtracted. This is then
converted to original form and submitted to the uniserver for approval. Of course, all numeric PPWs would be frowned upon because
the encryption doesn't work for them.

If I pay $40 a month for constant 200kbps, by god I'm going to use it ALL

Only times my 56k line isn't 100% in use are when I'm on the toilet or about to engage in a super bandwidth sucking project (Tribes,
Tribes 2, downloads)

The rules apparently aren't against commercial operations, just servers in general. I don't take kindly at all to at Home's rather
public intrusion into semi-private information though, and who knows how much information they could be gathering "Haha, look at
this lame little cyber zombie. Thinks he's found himself a girlfriend"
After experiencing at Home's anti-serverness first hand, when doing a closed IP access ONLY test run of an HTTP server to make sure I
had the software installed and configged right, I'm nearly positive that they're 100% against any server on their connection, I'm
sure if you were playing on a game server of your own for more than an hour they'd be on your case.

*slap* WHAT IN THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU KID? They're a buisiness NOT a fucking government agency. We have little to no power over
how they conduct buisiness. They don't even READ this group because of idiots like you that clog it up with senseless
repetitiveness.
