They are allowed into AW. They just can't build in AW.
So what they do instead is stay in The Gate and argue.
We try to get them to go explore, but all they want to do is build a house.
(Or kill another avatar.) hehehe
Tourists can't build anywhere without danger of getting their builds deleted
by somebody.
Plz correct me if I'm wrong and there is a world that protects tourist
builds.
If AW would designate an area for tourist building somehow, like maybe
29,000n 29,000e we might see tourists in AW more often.

Good point.
I'll see your 2 cents and raise you a nickle.
: )
But I think the point that ORB was trying to make here was tourists are
becoming a dying breed in AW.
We need to think of a way to make tourists want to come into AW again.

That's exactly it, Ciena. : )
However, there is still plenty to do with the "standard" AW objects and
effects.
Just look at SW City and Off World.
Although Ferruccio makes a valid argument, too.
How about keep the historical GZ in tact, and move the entry point for Alpha
World someplace else?

I'm sorry, but I hear Joni Mitchell singing...
They took all the trees
And put them in a tree museum
And they charged all the people
A dollar and a half just to see 'em
Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got
Till it's gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot.

I don't know what that building could be. I checked all the levels on
Google Earth.
It's not a restaurant, lodging, school or anything like that. It appears to
be in an industrial area or maybe an office park.
