i've had no trouble converting MD2 and MDL files to AW Format, with the 3D
Textures and design and they work on AW so maybe AW should use MD2 or MDL

that would make it so anyone could do anything to any tourist's property,
and AW 3.4 still thinks its "giving away property" when trying to change it

This is a list of Improvements i would like concidered to the Megapath
Object Path:
Car Objects: the Megapath has Scifi Car Objects, but it needs Modern Car
Objects like Sedans and Jeeps that dont fly
NewAW Textures: the Object Path has the cloud_strat texture and it's mask,
the water texture (top), and some other textures; the bottom water texture
and star "cloud" textures arent included and it could need them
May 25, 2003, 3:21am
AW 3.4 should have it so you can "Carve" Terrain out with the selected
object, this would make the terrain cell(or cells) it fills a hole
May 25, 2003, 5:04am
Active Worlds should have the ability for World and Community News to be
read, you should beable to submit news to the AW Universe and have Admins
check it and accept it, you could click a button "Check News" and it would
send a Universe Message to you saying Community, Citizen and World News to
you and if you've already read it it will not show up untill the news is
updated, changed, or has new news
May 25, 2003, 11:42am
there could be a limit

perhaps a nice feature to consider would be the ability for a citizen to
"invite" a tourist into a world thaat they otherwise couldn't get into.
This would mean having to right click on the tourist (either their avatar,
or their chat text) and select or type in which world to invite them to...
and the invitation would then be stored on the universe server and would
contain information such as the tourist's name and IP address to identify
them by, so that if they log out another tourist by the same name couldn't
"borrow" that invitation. Each citizen could invite up to a dozen or so
tourists at any given time, and the invitations would be automatically
revoked if the tourist gets ejected from the world and would expire in a day
otherwise.

if AW Could i would like them to make the following:
2 new wood board objects using hwood12 texture and are smaller
a washing machine object
a ceiling lamp
a more realistic mattress object, with a mattress frame object as well
some car objects that are not scifi hover cars
some new cardboard box objects that can fit on tables
and a generator object
avaible on the Megapath, i'm sure i can create these objects or download
them except i dont want to make an entire object path at this time...

i am building my world with the Megapath, i ran out of room building
something with the object limit at Huge with the objects: wall12.rwx and
to-tire1.rwx, the megapath doesnt have the right prefab objects and AW
doesnt have enough space......... to solve this problem extend the Object
Limit to a custom level that you can set
Jun 14, 2003, 6:46pm
its not like i am going to put in millions of objects i dont use many but
the maximum limit isnt enough

if you are using huge and fill up a cell it means:
AW needs smaller cells
the Megapath needs more objects/prefabs
and that the cell limit is too small it has nothing to do with being a good
builder
Jun 15, 2003, 3:05am
or people who dont want have enough space...
did you also know prefabs are put together objects like a HOUSE SOMEONE MADE
OUT OF PP01 AND FLOOR OBJECTS THAT THEY DONT WANT TO BUILD AGAIN IF YOUR
SUCH A GOOD BUILDER COME TO THE WORLD AND BUILD IT THEN
but guess what
IF I RUN OUT OF SPACE I AM A BAD BUILDER BUT IF YOU DO ITS AW'S PROBLEM?

Caretakers should have the ability to open an overview of their world in a
window, look above and underground to delete, select, move, and change
objects
this would help stop Vandalisem and help a CT to locate objects they made
and lost

just a 2D Overview which displays everything in the world and allows you to

just colors

AW should have the Following Sequences:
Turn Right Sequences
Turn Left Sequences
Turn Head Right Sequence
Turn Head Left Sequence
Look Up Sequence
Look Down Sequence
* the feature *
you should also beable to set keys to turn your head left and right, and up
and down which will make your Avatar Play a sequence showing you looking a
certain direction
Jun 28, 2003, 7:36am
speaking of "Avatars" there is a possible way to make reflections, there
should be a create mirror command that when your avatar walks across it (for
floors only) it will flip the avatar upside down but with allignment of your
av, creating a successful Reflection
