I think it would be a great feature if you could require a certain build of
the browser in order to enter a world on the world server level, like a
world feature.

this can be done with a bot, it has been done in NewAW but it would be
better as a feature

I have implemented such a feature using the 3.4 referer string and a
server side script.

People can still enter the world, but the server can give them anything
it wants to based on their browser version.. i.e. invisible models that
DL very quickly.. textures that tell them they need to use 3.4

This method has issues with caching though. Some form of cache
control would allow the implementation of a better solution.
