How would anybody (newbies and old timers) that came to AW environment know
the difference of the "trusted sources" unless the sources have been tested,

The cables I use to have a little triangle to match up. Some cables are
polarity protected too, especially when it connects to the MotherBoard.
Something I've noticed about floppy disk drives, when you remove a floppy
disk after transferring data, make sure you scroll out of the floppy drive
in your browser, that way it doesn't remember that something might be there
and load it when you open the browser again...also you can control the boot
sequence in the BIOS.

Let me do a little research fer ya :)
Post your floppy drive specs and your system specs...will try to help :)
You can find your system specs thru your system management or going to the
start menu, run, dxdiag, [press the enter key]

Why not just work as a team regardless of SEX, race, religion, etc lol.
I do not see anything wrong with teams of the same or opposite, especially
when a leader is involved. Many great Lady Leaders out there in responsible
positions :)...ie Mountain Myst, MIKsam, Lara, Capaboo, Mauz, AlphaBit
Phalpha...oh and Lucrezia Borgia for a great example. Lady Teams? There lot
of ladies involved if you look around :) Thank You Ladies :) Not sure what

Leadership is something we have to respect as a "team effort of a group"
regardless!
You will have to just see one day how much work a leader puts forth its
team.
It's hard work and the most reason I got out of it was just tired. What you
see in chat and rumors may not be the situation behind the scenes. Please
respect the Leadership regardless!
Thanks,

The other 3 cits I think in November.
I will however keep my oldest one in case I decide to ever re-appear.

I would like to apologize to the community and AWI for my behavior in the
last few days and especially Daphne since we go back quiet a ways and
anybody else that I may have hurt or disappointed. I have had plans on
leaving for some time now. My intentions were to toss in all my hats, let my
worlds run out in November, retire my PK number on it's next anniversary,
and wind out of AW. It's just way too much work and I'm tired. I have models
and bots that nobody has ever seen before. Time to move over and let another
generation have fun.
Have a nice day.

Oh Goobs, even if I have pissed you off in the past, I do fully understand

understands. I do have to admit you gave it your full best and are highly

I have been modeling since modeling classes were offered to the general
public.
I have also been programming since the late 70's. In my day, it was hard to
find a modeler that could program using lisp. As I told somebody in an
email, I have been building computers also since the first high speed data
aquisition device. See if you can find anybody that knows how to "wire a
chip".
Have a nice day.

How many folks in the AW environment would be willing to buy a new custom
built computer made for this environment :)
I would love to work out a deal with AW for preloaded machines and operating
systems but that would be alot of work to get this going.
I'm fixing to go back to work next week and am touching base with you guys
to see what kind of market is out there.
All the computers I have built for this application are still working fine,
even the one i'm using now that is over 3 years old and still running at
today's technology.
Please let me know,
Weebo

Depends upon what the user wants and how much money the user is willing to
spend. There is a balance that has to be met. The prices usually change
daily and can adjust to another item. Just last night the prices on the
Intel Pentium 3.0 Ghz dropped over $100.00 while I was grabbing prices and
ended up putting the person on the next higher processor that she asked for.
It really just depends what one wants. Sometimes if you want me to prepare a
mock quote just to see then wait about a week or so then re-check the prices
to see if you want to stick with cheaper prices or upgrade up to the
next...then might be able to play around a bit.
