Ya and while AW are at it they could add a PPW kicker to kick people off
your ppw... also auto done when you change ppw...

All AW would need are.... 3 new commands.
1 Uni > Cli
1 Uni > Wld
1 Wld > Cli(s)
The first would notify the client that they have been kicked from the ppw.
The second would notify the world server (of the world they are in) of the
above.
The third would notify all bots and clients in the world of the above.
Of course for a more complex system where you could kick individual people I
guess it'd be harder but not impossible?

No, I don't mean "sticky" objects that move the people.
I mean a command like "activate matchheight objectname=Blah" which
syncronizes the avatar's height with the object in real time.
Ok... well... how would jump in a lift work?
Well... avatars could have a base height (Y) if they don't already.... which
increases/decreases as a lift object goes up or down... the "jump height" is
then added to the base height. This would allow free movement in a lift...
etc.
Perhaps even "activate matchheight objectname=Blah command=" and then have
commands like ST, PA, RE (Stop, Pause, Resume)
This would be one way of doing things which I think is what people would
want "sticky" objects for. I am aware this is not what people want... but
perhaps it could be a temporary fix for aw? maybe even set the command out
in such a way that if they ever get round to doing "sticky" objects that it
wouldn't require people to modify their buildings for them to work the same.
Just a suggestion
John
Sep 10, 2004, 1:50pm
Or even better, perhaps something in create move?
"create move +0 +400 +0 wait=5 time=40 hsyn (hsyn = Height Sync)...
of course it would be best to check if the avatar is still on the object at
the stages... lol

You know how AW has cameras that face the face of the avatar? What if the
avtar could be frozen and a camera moved independently.
That way you could move in close on an avatar's face, etc.
John
Sep 28, 2004, 3:23pm
Oh and camera could also be locked in the position relative to the avatar
and then start moving the avatar again

Uhh ERROR
Stand on top of a nice tall building and scroll in with your zoom button.
Oh yes, you see the ceiling underneath you.
What I mean is the avatar freezes and the camera gains a new relative
position to the avatar.
