Funny... all of the news networks are continually telling people that Arab
Americans, Muslims, and those of Arab descent are not to blame and that
people should not attack them. I've never seen it the other way around.

I apologize in advance if this post seems somewhat cryptic. It's late at
night.
If the definition of the word terrorism in Active Worlds is anything that
involves destruction of property, then I concur. AW needs to unite. But
calling for new leadership isn't going to accomplish that. All they do is
oversee the software. They contribute to the community, but as far as I
know the community itself is unmanaged (or unmanagable ;)). There's not
much any community leader can do to prevent terrorism, seeing as there is no
leader. But there's always the programmers that can help that to some
extent.

You can change the default font in Outlook Express by going to the Tools
Menu, Options. On that new window, select the Read tab. Go down to Fonts
and press the Fonts... button. There you can change the Times New Roman
Text to Arial, shut eliminating any problems people might have with posting
in HTML. I do suggest you try it. We don't want another flame war, and we
certainly don't want to have to explain why HTML posts are not allowed yet

Does that warrant an attack against Builderz though? Had you said
Pricewatch saves you more money, then that's different. But saying that

"Stuff-X has provided hosting for Active Worlds customers for over

When you add that first sentence, the implication is that since Stuff-X
has been providing hosting for AW, those customers can also benefit from
Stuff-X's expansion. Therefore, those customers, who are AW citizens,
could be interested in this announcement, thereby, using your own logic,
making it NOT spam.
And don't even start with that "newbie" bullshit, Eep. I've been here

Spam is not wanted in ANY newsgroup--PERIOD! Most ISPs and email providers

p.s. The reason people are sore about HTML is because in Europe you have to
pay by the megabyte. It's not a one-time payment for unlimited access. So
be respectful of the difference and not post in HTML. I feel like singing
Aretha Franklin now... hehehe.

That's interesting... not sure what's causing it. Try shutting down all
programs on your computer except for Explorer, Systray, and your Internet
Connection. If it starts up fine, then turn the programs on one by one and
start AW each time to narrow down the list of programs conflicting with AW.

mm.. I beg to differ. Outdated means the majority of users don't use it
anymore. As far as I know the majority of computer users aren't up to 1 Ghz
yet.
