Super Finder Bot

Jun 5, 2000, 8:21pm
Is there a bot that will locate anything build by a specific Citno.? And
then give you the location of said objects?

The reason I am asking is I'm asking is that I was building a small city in
aw and a virus wiped out about half of my computer so i lost the coordinates
to it.

Hey all again,

basically I am writing because of Xelag's bankingbot script (the one =
missing the chat commands). well this is my problem after reading all =
the files on programming the xelagots (printing the whole thing too) I =
still cannot make heads nor tails of it (the only thing I can make of =
any bot script is where to put the id and pass).

I have no clue on how to add the chat lines (the parts Xelag left out =
due to limited time and space I guess) or any of the command lines for =
that matter.

if someone would be kind and help me learn to read what looks to me a =
like gobbly-gook (no offense meant just have no clue on how to read let =
alone write in the language) it would be greatly appreciated.

A totally clueless,

Jeiden

BOT SERVERS

Jun 23, 2000, 8:12pm
Um... in the previous thread by the same name calt exec already said where
to find a java bot server heres a copy of what was written.

Jeiden

Hello,

For your information AWJavaBots
http://www.insead.fr/CALT/Project/AWJavaBots/
runs on a servlet and can be programmed in javascript using a web browser.
However, this (open source) application will require spending sometime doing
some javaprogramming
if you want to do something serious.

You can try the technology at:
http://caltnt.insead.fr/servlets/awbot.javascript.servlet.AWJava

Quidditch bot

Jul 10, 2000, 12:31am
Quidditch is a game out of the Harry Potter books.

Its a game played on flying broom sticks fifty feet above the ground =
average and four balls. The field is about 50 yards long and has hoops =
on tall poles at either end.
=20
The four balls are as follows
=20
Two bludgers they fly around at players trying to knock them off their =
broomsticks.
=20
One Quaffle you score points if it goes through a hoop
=20
And the winged Golden Snitch flies around at very high speeds gives a =
hundred and fifty points if caught, catching it also ends the game.
=20
Player positions
=20
Seeker finds and catches the Snitch, only one Seeker per team
=20
Beater makes sure the opposite team doesn't find the Snitch by using a =
small club to wack the bludger at a Seeker on the other team. Or at a =
Chaser to get him to drop the Quaffle. There are two of these
=20
Chaser once holding a Quaffle makes for a hoop to score ten points.
=20
Keeper not sure what that position does yet.
=20
all and all there are a total of 7 players on each team.

First thanks for the emailed responses.

Now that that is out of the way I need a bit more help.

The problem is that my bot cant seem to load my ini file.
it has a terrible recall.

basically when a person says stats the following command line is =
executed

If sdk.AwChatMessage =3D "stats" Then
stats
End If

Which takes the program to

Private Sub stats()
loadinfo
covert1 =3D "str:" & Str
covert2 =3D "dex:" & Dex
covert3 =3D "int:" & Inte
covert4 =3D "con:" & Con
covert5 =3D "wis:" & Wis
covert6 =3D "cha:" & Cha
covert7 =3D "hp:" & hpAct
covert8 =3D "mp:" & mpAct
covert9 =3D "ac:" & AC
covert10 =3D "gp:" & GP
covert11 =3D "exp:" & EXP
spacevar =3D " "

sdk.AwSession
sdk.AwSay CName & spacevar & covert1 & spacevar & covert2 & _
spacevar & covert3 & spacevar & covert4 & spacevar & covert5 & spacevar =
& _
covert6 & spacevar & covert7 & spacevar & covert8 & spacevar & covert9 _
& spacevar & covert10 & spacevar & covert11

End Sub

and to

Private Sub loadinfo()

'Load CharacterName
KeySection =3D "Name"
KeyKey =3D "CharacterName"
KeyValue =3D CName
loadini

'Load Level

'Load Race

'Load Class

'Load Str

'Load Inte

'Load Dex

'Load Con

'Load GP

KeyKey =3D "CharacterGP"
KeyValue =3D GP
loadini

'Load Exp
KeySection =3D "EXP"
KeyKey =3D "CharacterEXP"
KeyValue =3D EXP
loadini

End Sub

then to

Private Sub loadini()

strFileName =3D App.Path & "\rpg.ini" 'Declare your ini file !
lngResult =3D GetPrivateProfileString(KeySection, _
KeyKey, strFileName, strResult, Len(strResult), _
strFileName)
If lngResult =3D 0 Then
'An error has occurred
Call MsgBox("An error has occurred while calling the API function", =
vbExclamation)
Else
KeyValue =3D Trim(strResult)
End If

End Sub

And then back to the stats sub to say the result in the chatbox.

For some reason when it gets to loadini it fails to load the ini file.

How do I resolve this problem and have the bot remember that the INI is =
there at start up?

Thanks in advance,

Jeiden

new bot? good idea? or not?

Nov 19, 2000, 12:37pm
Well I don't think C++ allows you to make a user interface in 5 seconds like
you can in VB, point and click and you have the interface. Though the hard
part is getting the blasted coding of your commands right.

Feb 8, 2001, 3:09am
Actually derek any bot that can find someone can join them or have them join
it. It just takes a shitload of smart programming on the part of the bot's
creator.

VB: Identifying objects

Feb 18, 2001, 11:16pm
Okay just how would I identify if a specific object gets clicked?

I know that it has something to do with an object number, so how would I
find out the object number in the first place? And are there any other
things that I would use to make sure I have the correct object? If so what
are they?

And what would the correct syntax be for the code?

VB: Identifying objects

Feb 19, 2001, 1:22am
So how would I get the blasted object number in the first place? Cause
getting the N W coords is easy, I have no clue what to do about getting the

Either Hamfon's Hambot or Xelag's Xelagot would do that if you had the =

Hamfon's site is http://home.sprintmail.com/~ncrowle/hamfon.htm

Probably you should have just made a new folder for your new project cause
if i remember right it loads files in relation to what folder you told it to
look in and if they aren't there it gives errors.

Visual Basic Bot Programming

Hmmmm is this the same maka I once was friends with and that used to have
help in my world?

If so then you really have developed a really nasty attitude and really
shouldn't have people boycott your stuff. If only to teach you that people
don't like know it alls that put others down.

Even Eep has stopped doing that, at least only after giving a few warnings
first :)

So maka if you are the same guy I knew and you don't clean up your act, you
can remove me and my world from the UFP.
