scuse me....

ITS NOT HTML DAMNIT!

OE displays all picture attachment at the bottom of your window, because
incase you forgot your actually reading this message from the equivilent of
an internet explorer / Rich text conbination screen!

If it was HTML, it would say HTML in the bloody encoding and it dosent. Its
got plain text, and an attachment... if it didnt it would be multitype...

lol, I caught M a t t on msn yesterday using the name "mandy" and typing in
pink text. Asked him if he was a little too in touch with his feminine side
heh. He was using the girly attitude to lure shallow dudes into downloading
his virus...but he may be gay, you never know with him. lol

[View Quote] Augh don't attach things that large to your post even if you do mention it in the subject. Use a link next time.

When downloading you will see the STOP button highlighted, you can just kill
the download by clicking it.

- Some people read NGs offline to save online time
- People who catch up might download everything

It is really bad manner to post large binaries in a NG
that has not explicitely been marked for binary contents.

still a big pain uploading it to a website and all :) why not be lazy when
you can? :)
and im sure the people downloading it to see it offline can suffer to
download an extra 100kb a week

In article <3f070c24 at server1.Activeworlds.com>, richard.lazenby1 at ntlworld.com
says...

It would be better if you had reported the TOS violation directly to the
website host abuse dpt. (abuse at netfirms.com), most hosts (like this one) take
offline sites with harmful content in less than 12h.

[View Quote] Lazy trumps polite, unless, of course, being polite would allow you to
be lazy.

Uploading large images to a non-binary group is unpolite.
Beeing lazy is a very weak excuse for breaking netiquette.

with angelfire? AW should set us up with a binary server. ;)

heh, miss understanding :)
Well, i guess the whole uploading thing would be better for people who
download the thing and read it offline, but doesnt make a diffrence for
everyone else :)

You do not care for other people, this shows it again.
Doesn't make me wonder that you don't have friends.

[View Quote] I agree with Ananas. If this is your attitude, then you should not be surprised if people don't show you respect.

Submissions are evaluated as to whether or not ...
(2) they meet netiquette
</quote>

The netiquette for NGs asks people to post binary attachments
only to groups that are marked "binary" (and not to use HTML
at all) to keep the size small.
