Shame on you, WVRN Radio. Your display at the Cy Awards Ball speaks for
itself. It shows that WVRN is not trying to run a serious radio station for the Active Worlds community. A radio station that is supposedly for the community should be unbiased and neutral. It should NOT be used as a means to insult a man who was in an auto accident ON AIR buy calling him a "F***ing Cripple". That kind of talk is not even close to being funny, and should not be said on a radio station for the 'community' that anyone could hear. I don't think I could ever listen to, or respect WVRN Radio ever again after this incident. I also think you should apologize for the terrible words you said on the air. There is no excuse you can give that will justify for the terrible things you said on the air, and also for trying to ruin the Cy Awards Nominees Ball for everyone by flooding the chat. What I love so much about Danny2k's radio station is you can make requests
instantly. You just choose the song and click and within a few minutes, it is online. I support Danny 2k for all his efforts to make awradio.com a great internet
radio station for AW. AW should be proud that someone such as Danny has taken it upon himself to provide advertisements for the community and I would encourage them to make their own voice ad for Danny to use as well. He gets listeners from all over the country not just people that go to AW. But I'm sure they might be coming here now, lol Danny 2k and XTC have worked very hard to make awradio.com what it is today and even with Danny's medical problems he is going thru right now he is still able to do something he loves doing so much. If people will send him the URLs to new mp3s he can upload to add to the playlist that can be done. It's your station as much as it is his. If I had cable I'd be sending him lots of stuff to play, so anyone out there that wants to see more selections, upload the mp3 to a site and send the URL to him. Unlike K.C, Danny 2k has been very proffesional in the way he has run his station from the beginning. He lost the BW trash and things have been going very successfully for him now and will continue to. BW went for the money and the inferior quality. Now that inferior quality, wvrn, is trying to ruin things for Danny 2k. But fortunately the intelligent, good people know better and will also support Danny 2k and XTC at awradio.com 100% and is the Official Cy Awards Internet Radio Station. AWRADIO.COM, YOU GO GO GO! I would also like to thank Danny2k not only for the great promotions he
has given the Cy Awards, and hosting the mp3's for our party events, but also for being VERY professional:) When he came to us to sponsor The Cys, he first of all was polite in the request. Then he asked tons of questions to make sure he had all the information to make sure the commercial was correct. A draft was to me within 24 hours and the promos released soon thereafter. He handled himself in a very professional manner also when I was taken away from the opening of the Nominees Ball to deal with a *competing station's* argument about who had rights for coverage. AWRadio not only has secured rights for coverage of the Cys, this round, but has earned those rights ongoing because of it's outstanding talents and professional behavior. Why do you hear another Broadway vs NewYork here... Simple... WRVN = Broadway's Radio... As Just In himself has said that he dosen't know people all that well... He can't possibly understand what people want. He much rather stay to building and that is it. BUT if someday he was to take the time to understand people... THEN he would insist that everything be done correct. As it is... It's not being done correct. Danny 2K found that out. Many others have too. But that isn't the people's fault. It's the fault of some world owner/s that do not take the time to find out & get to understand the people's needs are & set about to fullfil them in a professional manor. Danny 2K has that. But some people don't and they rely on what the world OWNER has. If that world owner dosn't have that either... Then someone gets the impression that it's a FREE-FOR-ALL anything goes it attitude and in some cases that is acceptable while in some other cases it's not. At the CY Awards Ball it was not acceptable. Both the Danny2K show and WVRN started out in Broadway world. Initially
Danny2K ran his show without any competition, but he then became ill. K.C took over the live broadcasting with only limited success. Danny returned to AW and Broadway about a month later. I suggested the two of them merge, with Danny2K taking the lead. K.C had ideas that Danny2K did not agree with, and so the two of them decided to keep their radio shows seperate. Danny2K then moved is home base to NewYork world, despite my suggestion that he would always retain my priority backing in Broadway. WVRN has only retained provisional support from Broadway World on a "we'll wait and see" basis. There have since been far too many instances of problems and personality conflicts between K.C and other people (including Danny2K), and K.C certainly has not had our support in causing these problems or conflicts. Neither Danny2K nor K.C have had any major dispute with any of the Broadway World owners, although I have expressed my disappointment to Danny2K that he did not continue in Broadway World, and have not always agreed on his approach to some matters. K.C has now advised that his AW account will soon expire and he will not be renewing it. He has also said he will pursue other live broadcasting opportunities outside of AW. I wish him well in that. Danny2Ks radio show is great for anyone who has a cable or above line speed, and I commend him for it. I wish him well and I am sure that now that the cause of conflict is no longer present he will again run intermittant shows out of Broadway World, just as he has done in the past. As I have said before in this NG, all I do is search for truth and if you want it you got it. I don't say things that I don't believe to be true. That is against everything I stand for but the things that man has done I can't even talk about in this NG, THAT'S how bad it is, ok So you look me up in AW and I'll tell you everything I know. I have nothing to be afraid of and I certainly am not going to stop telling people the truth about anything that inevitably causes harm to many people. Case in point, this thread.
