I'm giving it a whirl in Aeon world, running it from xelag Dwagon bot. Would
be nice if it worked with a skybox, and would be nice to keep the cloud
layers? I don't seem to have any clouds at all LOL. Come see, I'll leave it
running for a few days. Interesting tho...

Yep it's there in the same folder. I did notice that beside the file changes
you mentioned, there were three more changes from your Boise files to my
local weather files, I'd advise folks to look carefully and be sure to
change both instances of all three files (whereas your tut only mentioned
changing the top one of each, there is a second instance of each).
I did try to us it with my skyboxes and it looks pretty good except for sun
up and sun down where the corona goes in front of the skybox, mine happen to
have mountains so it looks pretty funky to have the sun rise or set in front
of the mtns LOL.
Also, I noticed you have your own cloud textures, and water textures, etc
.... folks need to be aware that those will get changed unless they set it to
their own. Or, perhaps you could provide those files?
Finally, although in preliminary stages and yes it has *some issues* ...
this really rocks and the concept is great. Just be sure if you use it that
you write down ALL of your World Feature settings first. That way if you
don't like the effect you can at least go back to what you have now. By this
I mean write down the sky, clouds (all 3 layers), water, fog, etc ...
anything pertaining to *weather*. Luckily I have my previous xelag
worldscheduler in one bot, and this realweather in another so I can always
get my [Sherry] to fix what my [Dwagon] has messed up LOL (dwagons are like
that).

PS ... looking forward to those revisions we talked about hun! Great job

Ya I suggested that and a few other ideas LOL. One thing I suggested was
that he try to format it somewhat like the worldscheduler script. I've got
*other things* in with my world scheduler and if I go to his script (as it
is) I won't be able to incorporate those into his, which means I'll then
have to go to two scripts and two bots where now I use one bot for both
scripts. I really did enjoy the effect of his script however! Even if it did
change all my World Features to his LOL. I've since attempted to change his
script so that I have the features, textures, etc, that I'm use to.
He's got a great idea goin here and doing a wonderful job. Keep up the great
work panther!

In the lightdata script, can you please explain what the figures are in just
one line? Ex:
0:0=150,150,150,0,15,3,116,116,116,43,-147,0,0,25,0,0,25,0,0,25,0,0,25,0,0,2
5,0,0,0
I understand 0:0 to be midnight, but what are these color codes for
specifically please? Yes I know they are RGB ... my question is what set of
3 colors goes for what ambient, diffuse, etc?

Help? I saved a build I did as a survey in aw, but my bot keeps
disconnecting on the rebuild, have you any idea whatz causing that? In the
area I'm trying to rebuild at, it only got *some* items. The build tab says
....
AddSuccessful list 370
AddFailed list 0
AddUnconformed list 1639
ToDo list 0
Build now 0
Build later 0
I understand it to say it only got 370 successful but why the high # of
unconformed??? Why is the bot disconnecting? I try to continue but to no
avail, some are successful but most not. There are no other objects out here
that would cause this so I'm confused. Help please!?

Thank you for the clarification Alex!
As promised I did a tutorial on how to do the Bot Survey (xelag bot of
course) and how to build from a survey, as well as destroy a build. I tend
to require *hands on teaching* and will take it from most anyone willing to
give me their time LOL, for this recent *learning experience* I pestered
HarvestMoon, PeteHetherington and tunablues ... all of which were fantastic
teachers. Because of them, my Xelag Survey tutorial was made possible and I
thank them all from the bottom of my heart. I hope some find this tut
helpful?

I recently renamed my xelagot bots and changed their avs, one took fine but
the other keeps going back to the old av no matter how many times I tell her
to change to the new and no matter whether or not I change preferences,
she's the mirror bot in the world. So after she mirrors, instead of wearing
the new av as her default she puts on the old one. Does anyone know what's
causing this? Perhaps I need to edit the ini file ... if so what line(s)? Or
is it the mirror file that's causing it? I'm stumped ...

You are simply replying to posts that are on three sections of the NG ...
not your fault LOL.
As to *blonde* perhaps Alex is thinking of me, I like to claim *blonde
status* (for which I am btw, although not Platinum LOL) when I do something
silly or don't know things that others think I should. It's a good excuse,
nice to be able to blame something LOL.
I could say I'm scatter brained, or haven't got a clue but heck ... most
people know what those mean. Now *blonde* ... some actually hafta ask me
what that means LOL. And it really means nothing cause not all blondes are
dumb, hair color doesn't determine your intelligence ... hasn't got anything
to do with it ... but some folks take that comment and run with it so
whatever makes em happy!

Could I say a word and have a bot go to coords for that word? For instance
I'd like to have each area that is in my tours section so that if you speak
a word or series of words the bot will either go there itself (such as
sending my dwagon to his perch or other spot) and/or will send the speaker
to the tour spot called for (such as if I or someone else where to say
*rock* the bot would me, or whoever said it, to Dwagons' Rock area).
Perhaps for the bot I'd say *Dwagon perch* and he'd go to that spot
or
For me or anyone else that says *perch* we'd go there
or
For me or anyone else that says *gallery of friends* we'd go there
Can that be done?

How do I stop my X1 bots from autologging in when I start the program? I
don't mind the 1st one doing it but now the 3rd one is doing it and I don't
want that one to log itself in when I start the program. How do I stop them

How do I get my x1s to recognize all world caretakers as their boss/owners?
I have set the Preferences to allow first owners (I assume that's the
caretakers) but they still don't seem to recognize AerHawk when being told
to follow/join/etc by him. How do I get them to know he is a caretaker /
owner just as I am? Thanks...
