Wishlist didnt do this post any justice. I am desperately trying to either
build a bingo bot, or "aquire" one. Does anyone know anything about
building a bingo bot, etc?
"Renting" one from AW costs $380/yr. Kindof outrageous for a bot if you ask
me.
Feb 24, 2003, 6:20pm
There is a reason I would like one. I wanted have bingo one night a week,
for adults only. I know of alot of people that would love to play without
kids. Nothing against kids, I just think it would be fun to not be rated G
all the time! (I have kids, and would like a break from being mom or being
so careful, if you know what I mean) My best friend and I bought the world,
have it hosted and object paths set up and running. I can rent one from AW,
i would just rather pay someone else, honestly.
And yes, as much as some of you dont care for more bingo worlds, mine is not
a bingo world, just a world that would have bingo one night a week with no
kids. No competion with AW's bingo nights, I would schedule around them. I
am just thinking of some adult fun, without it being DS or Gor.
Any ideas?

well, actually......It is the fact that AW is charging so much for their
bot. I mean, after buying a world, hosting, object path, etc. That just
seems like alot more money, when I know a better one can be (and has been)
created.
I have tons of loyalty to AW, but I mean really, they dont have to charge
that much for a freaking bot! I am doing it for now, but loyalty or
no.....My husband is going to build one for me.
($34/month)
And, speed bingo is ALOT more fun!!!!

Okay, I have preston, how do I set it up for global chat? Although it would
be nice for there to be a feature in the world settings!!!! I cant believe
there isnt one! I have a p50, for crying out loud, you should able to at
least talk p20! I cant get 20 meters away and hear someone. Taht is just
nuts!
So tell me, how do I program this bot for global chat? Please help .

If they require you to be 18, they should be marked R. If they require you
to be 21, they should be marked X.

The point was, Unsuitable material that the rating is saying it is okay for
those over 13. Which is not acceptable. We are asking that AWI take some
worlds into consideration and make their rating is appropriate. As an adult
world, I would not be offended if I was asked to make my rating higher. But
stating an adult world is PG-13 is not cool. If a parent makes sure their
child can go into PG-13 worlds, and has the other worlds password protected
so their child cant get into the adult worlds....well, that just failed with
half of gor and dseden, didnt it?
As a parent, I think this is very necessary. Now, will AWI read this?

browser because the numeric rating used internally has changed meanings as
of AW 3.4 to accomodate the addition of the PG-13 rating. This should be
only a temporary set-back. As for worlds having a rating enforced, I think
yes there should be a way to do that, but it should be used extremely
sparingly because to do otherwise would discourage attempts at changing a
world's rating and content to something seen as being less objectionable,
and just because a world "had" a certain rating doesn't and shouldn't mean
that the people in charge of it can't ever decide to change it.
