Actually, I dont think I ever said it was a bug. I was merely asking a
question. Sometimes, incase you havent noticed, people tend to have things
happen on their machine that doesnt happen on other machines. I was wanting
to know if others saw that way, that is why I asked if anyone else was
noticing it. I know how to report bugs, and I am on the beta team. I had
actually never noticed it before I went to Windows XP. The graphics in XP
got much worse (not clear like they were in win 2k), and the water is pretty
opaque.
So no kah, I never once thought it was a bug. Read messages, then respond.
It is sometimes helpful. ;-)
I cant use T&L mode on this machine. I will try my other one later and see
what it looks like over there. It is interesting to think that T&L has
clearer water than the others, though. Consistency is not an option ,
though.
And, I can not change the opacity of water if it isnt my world.
It was just an observation and a little question.

I am trying to see what money I can get back on my unused portion of my
world, and bingo will be stopped in Pleasure.
I have been gone from AW during an absence of illness. I came back to
being threatened with being banned from AW, due to someone given me some
avatars that were copyrighted. I gave them to two different people in Feb.
I can not remember who I gave them to. (If you read this, and it was you,
will you please contact JP at AW and let them know you have them and are not
using them, or whatever. I honestly dont care what you say to them, if you
say anything.) When it was brought to my attention that they were
copyrighted, I contacted the seller (who's name I cant remember now) and
told them what happened.
I was told to ask each person to please dispose of the avatar, and to not
worry about it. I was told that I did the right thing and I was thanked for
handling the situation. I asked if they wanted the names of the people they
were sent to, and I was told not to worry about it.
Well, unfortunately, my hard drive has crashed since then so I do not have
any names of anyone. And that was so long ago that I do not remember that
stuff. I have real life to remember.
I dont care to go through the melodrama of AW anymore. It is childish, and
honestly rediculous. I have been faithful to AW, never done anything wrong,
not once!! Threaten me? Forget it, I will gladly leave. It was great fun
while it lasted, and maybe I will see some of you in different programs.
Feb 27, 2003, 7:37pm

Enzo, how does someone else become a beta tester? I have been asking to
beta test for months, and I am always told it is full. Yet Jacob comes
along, and he gets beta. How does that happen?!
Others of us have been here alot longer, and have not had this opportunity.
(and I guarantee you, some of us pay ALOT more in AW than others. over $900
a year, I should be a beta tester too)

I guess I should explain my concern so that maybe you will understand where
I am at (and might not think I am such a whiner just for asking something)
I have purchased a world , which has been quite expensive..i am about to
start scripting bots for it, and I am getting concerned that I am doing all
that work and then they will not work in 3.4.

This world is asking people to register to play bingo. They want all your
personal information, before you play. Home address, home phone, full name,
email address, etc. Does this just seem alittle off to everyone?? Or was
it just was that were in there? I am alittle worried about the not-so-smart
internet people that might give that info, just so they can play and "win
cool prizes". Enzo, anyone....can they do this?!
And how on earth did they send a message to the entire universe to advertise
this? (not only that, the world only holds 10 people at a time!!!)

I agree strike. I was just wondering if AW had some policy on this?? I
know they say to not give this info away to anyone...but there is a whole

I recently got a Nvidia GForce2 MX400 and everytime I get in AW it crashes
like crazy. At first I thought it was windows XP and there was no way I was
going to let that stop me from coming to AW....so I downgraded to
Win2K....same problem. It says it created an error log for me, so I go look
at it....all the same thing. DrWatson error 4907. I dont really understand
what it means but it says it is a binding issue. I have tried upgrading my
video driver, I have changed to every video setting in AW, I have upgraded
to directx9. Anyway...is this just this stupid video card has a problem
with AW, or is this some strange bug I have in AW on that other machine?
Any ideas, anyone? I am at my wits end over here. I can run the server,
just not the client program.
I have f-disked the machine, started over 3 times....same problem. I had
one video card, now this one...same problem. I am not beta, I am AW 3.3
build 419.
Any ideas, I'm open.
Thanks in advance for any ideas!!

I am not meaning to flame, or be rude. But it did seem odd, how you asked
for so much information of people, just to play your game, and win big
prizes. How do you make money? It seems as if you are selling our info, to
make money, to buy prizes, to give to us. I am not sure many people want
their info given out, or sold to anyone. I was all for your world, and very
interested in it, until I read all the info in your world. It scared me, as
well as others. Would you go into a world, or website, and give all of your
information to them, just to play a game?
I am being very serious, and very interested....as well as curious. I am
NOT, let me repeat that, NOT being rude. Maybe if you could just explain
it, it might help your case here. I have tried to ask you, in your world,
online, and on here why you want so much information, and you never
answered. You can send me an email if you prefer by replying to me, instead
of reply group.
I just dont want my real name, home address, phone number, and email address
sold, or given out to ANYONE....unless I give it to them directly. Not
indirectly through someone else. If you dont make money by our information,
how do you make money to give out all those great prizes?
