I have started hosting worlds on my 2 windows servers. I hope to soon write
a small program that will allow you to remote administer your worlds and only your worlds with out other world owners being able to access yours as well as there own that I host. I will also offer hosting on other universes apon request. See the site below for more details. http://www.xeonsoft.co.uk/awhosting.htm I soon hope to start bot hosting for world owners and a possibley rent my object rather which i have started expanding. The path my also be rentable by other users for there worlds. In the next few days I will improve the site to add hosting news and a network status information. Until i complete my remote admin until i will take any changes to the worlds via telegram and email. World HostingAug 2, 2003, 8:26am

them every day or every 5 min World HostingAug 2, 2003, 9:28am
The whole point of the sdk it to make life easier so why not use it to make
a remote admin utility saves having to upgrade and mess around with god knows how many world servers but it would be 1 way Citizenship DisabledAug 7, 2003, 10:09pm

haha my Athlon XP 2400 (2ghz) over clocked up to 2327.5mhz in the end but u
can get it faster and i remember when the CPU fan on my Athlon 650mhz died it ran for ages with out a problem... dust was burnt but hey it was fine though i did get some new fans when i found out. Oh and Athlon XP's are jsut MP's with a connection cut so reconnect it and u can get cheap multi cpu athlon's Dual Athlon XP 1500 very speedy. My Athlon XP 2400 never get up to more than 55C i see intel's do the same. but if u atke the heat sink off and stick a themometer in the core isn't vrey hot at all the temperature is messured from under the socket where there is no air flow u can stick ur finger on the heat sink and hardly feel it being warm. Even when its on and been running for weeks.... ppl seem to keep the idea's about the K6 and K62 and early athlon's the XP's Op's and 64's are much better than u think AMD Athlon 64Sep 29, 2003, 4:21pm
My dad and bro both have athlon xp 1500's my bro has a 32mb geforce 2 and my
dad has a ati rage pro 2.... and the geforce runs circlse around the ATI AMD Athlon 64Sep 29, 2003, 9:19pm
Save money intel's are awyyy more expensive that AMD's... specially the old
XP's converted to MP's with a lil connection on L5 Bridge http://www.cluboverclocker.com/reviews/motherboards/iwill/mpx2/page4.htm AMD Athlon 64Sep 29, 2003, 9:22pm
My only draw back was that i have 266mhz ram so i could only up my
multiplier with out getting memory problems and blue screens of death should be good if i both to replace it with 3x 1GB DDR chips.... or i could just save my penny's AMD Athlon 64Sep 29, 2003, 9:25pm
All the cooling issues aren't as bad as people make out... i have my 2400
with the retail box heat sink it worked fine and was nice and quiet.... though for over clocking maybe a $25 heat sink (im guessing cant be bothered to convert £15) that keeps it super cool and its not very noisey at all even when i both the optional fans to the cases moutings... its not loud at all and keeps my temps down well AMD Athlon 64Sep 29, 2003, 9:26pm
AMD have got the lead on 64bit.... i mean how much more performance can we
squess out right now on th current systems so get 64 bit much nicer .. but dont forget to look at the Opteron's but there more office and server designed 64's are gaming and home use AMD Athlon 64Sep 29, 2003, 9:29pm
Lol nooo well.... heat sink £20... £10 for 2 8 inch fans what ever £30 is in
USD AMD Athlon 64Sep 29, 2003, 10:08pm
ALSO
remember: The New Athlon 64 FX-51 performs on par with Intel's 3.2GHz P4 in most cases. Where it its self is a 2.2GHz monster and see what the hype is all about? |
