To be honest, he wasn't really that great to begin with. Certainly I'm
not much better, but I could be worse. Do wishes come true?Oct 21, 2004, 12:45am

I failed to see any sarcastic "tone" in your post. You seemed to be
very sincere. ActiveWorlds Windows Profiles?Nov 1, 2004, 2:57pm

That's assuming it's the very last in the list to be tried. It'd more
likely be 1/2-2/3 that number. SDK Event: AW_EVENT_EJECTOct 26, 2004, 9:08am

Possibly have the font be able to be downloaded from the OP. You'd need
a list of all the fonts that are setable just from the browser, then the OP ones. chat relay bot for GateNov 23, 2004, 7:10pm

Depends if you regard 0 as the first number, or if you choose to start
counting at 1. Able to Increase and Decrease Size of ObjectsNov 23, 2004, 5:14pm

There's one of two ways to do this.
One, grab the original value from the registry, and have the object scale stored in the property database, then use a formula to then determine if the object would encroach in it's new size. Two, store the new registry values per scaled object. I think the registry should be stored in a database such as mySQL and that you could link to remote registries if given permission to. Simple solution, don't sit 2 meters away from the screen. Do you sit

For those of you that are using aw 3.2 with the Intel 82810 chipset and have
been having problems with the glass and masked objects not being displayed after relogging into AW, I've created a temporary fix. I am also working on a PHP version for those of you who have a local web server and another batch file that will delete the file that's causing the problem in the cache. -note, I would not suggest using this file if you're on dialup since it redownloads your cache.. --instructions: place aworld.bat into your activeworlds directory and run it.. you can place a shortcut onto your desktop if you wish, this will automatically start AW 3.2 for you. (aworld.bat included) --Bowen-- begin 666 aworld.bat B1&5L=')E92 O>2!C86-H90T*87=O<FQD+F5X90T*97AI= `` ` end AW 3.2 Glass and Masked problem FixOct 20, 2001, 7:20pm
Well I've finally got this to seek out the file that causes the problems
with the 82810 chipset. Special thanks to Ananas for giving me the delete function that works :). Http://bowen.linux-dude.com/82810.php. This link includes directions on how to work the file. --Bowen-- Serendipitous's Birthday Quilt:)Oct 25, 2001, 9:38pm
It's not a cross post, it's in the right group as well, hence general
discussion. You should know better then to post useless garbage such as this. You don't need to flame every other post that's here. Please don't reply to this... it is not worth my time to hear more. --Bowen-- [View Quote] Serendipitous's Birthday Quilt:)Oct 25, 2001, 10:26pm
I'm sorry, someone pointed out to me that this was in "community" as well.
But I still stand by my point that it applies to both newsgroups and it's not being cross-posted in a bad way, such as IA seems think it is. --Bowen-- [View Quote] Serendipitous's Birthday Quilt:)Oct 26, 2001, 12:09am
I was not subscribbed to the community one, and you need to stop before you
do something you regret. You need to get either a higher level of maturity or get a better personality. --Bowen-- [View Quote] Serendipitous's Birthday Quilt:)Oct 26, 2001, 12:50am
Yes I see that, but allowing him to post on the NG can be stop.. his
cynicism on everything needs to stop if that can't be done right away. Oh and IA cynicism means negative comments.. didn't want to make you think too hard. --Bowen-- [View Quote] comp locking up!Oct 29, 2001, 6:37pm
Are you using Software, OpenGL, or D3D? In either of the 3 just check to
make sure you have the latest video driver installed and/or DirectX version. --Bowen-- [View Quote] comp locking up!Oct 29, 2001, 6:53pm
Oh yeah, by default AW 3.2 is in software mode. That might be causing your
problem since software mode uses a lot of resources. Try switching to D3D mode. Hope that helps :) --Bowen-- comp locking up!Oct 29, 2001, 7:04pm
Go to Options, Settings, Video, hit Direct 3D, hit Ok, it'll ask to restart,
hit yes, you'll restart in D3D mode in the place you left :) --Bowen-- [View Quote] |
