well, maybe if she has like a dedicated host (sure some people do), cant
they just upload your program to the server, and do it like weekly or
something?
though i really dont get what the big deal about it is anyway (unless your
planning to sell that is). most of you use pirated software to make the
objects and textures anyway! and if you bought your modeling software, you
probably have something else on your pc which is pirated. so, now most of
ya'll know how it feels like :)
and secondly, since everyone seem against it, i doubt many people will
actually steal your objects anyway.

i guarentee it will never work. aw sucks, and if i didnt already have it, i
sure as hell wouldnt bother getting it. the only reason im still here is
because of all the friends i've made, and the fact that my connection is too
slow for both there and Second life.
AW just doesn't make it as a game, or a serious source of entertainment. if
i were in charge, i'd think about businesses, and 3d homepages, of a
diffrent kind, where all the data is stored on a website, so no need for
hosting, like Adobe Atmoshpere. and like adobe, have a builder program and
stuff for offline building, wont be too hard to implant im sure. ofcourse,
that would mean there would be no chat for the non-hosted versions.
oh, and the fact that you have to pay for land, in my opinion sucks, they
should sell packages, like Macromedia Flash, where you pay for the software,
not for the space that doesnt exist. these packages will not have building
enabled though, and wont be a part of the aw universe, just a seperate
website type thing.

naa, competition is the largest driving force for new developements. without
competition, the stations will get lazy, and go shit. plus, diffrent
stations will probably have diffrent types of music, for diffrent people,
like in real life, if you dont like whats on one station, move to the next.
having only 1 will be totally stupid in my opinion.
