It is official, after two years and 6 months in the AW universe, A!!CT World
will offically expire on December 16th 2003. Along with A!!CT World,
MrBruce's cit along with mine (A1CT Builder), Mayor Taz and Starfleet's will
expire.
So I am offically saying good bye to everyone on behalf of A!!CT World and
MrBruce.
Below is a link to MrBruce's last world announcement, MrBruce feels A!!CT
World no longer has a place in the AW universe and feels the community has
wanted it to close anyway. His last statement to me was "Why should I spend
anymore money on a program that does not recognize what good the world has
done for the community, and allows other to badger and attack us everytime
we announce an event?. The time has come to go where my money and efforts
are appreciated".
On A!!CT's last day, the community will be giving all open rights in A!!CT
so the community can delete and destroy the world before it expires.

Secondly: I dont blame him. Although I know the guy is not looking for
recognition, but it saddens me to see the guy put not only a lot of his time
into trying to help AW, but also a lot of his money as well.
I have not seen one time here any of you have ever gave the guy any credit
or recognition for what he has put into AW.
Not many world owners in AW have spent large amounts of money on a world
that is totally open to everyone for both building as well as visitation.
MrBruce tried his best to give all of you what should have been offered in
Alpha World to all, and he did this with his own hard earned money.
People say A!!CT sux, but did any of you take the time to try and help make
it better?
A lot of you put MrBruce down for buying worlds and citizenships for people,
why has no one ever giving the guy credit for his caring and generosity?
Perhaps you failed to see the guy cares more about people than he did
himself.
What truthfully did he get for his time and money?
Besides being allowed by AWI to be slanddered, attacked and ridiculed in
these news forums.
AWI delibrately failing to announce A!!CT world events in its newsletters.
Like the Turkey Hunt planned for November 15th Kimdelee submitted!
Mountain Myst threatening MrBruce with closing all his worlds and his
disabling his citizenship for posting an email he thought was authentic
proof AW's arch enemey matt was incarcerated and no longer a threat to AW's
citizens.
AWI delibrately deleting all A!!CT 'world of the month' votes for November.
Besides that the guy got nothing!
I see it myself, just a certain few get all the public recognition around
here and are protected against attacks in this forum.
And for all this the guy spends upwards of over $5000.00 a year to AWI?
I told him if he ever comes back to AW, go to Alpha World and leech off the
free land like everyone else here who is notorious, make your community
there and stop worrying about bringing new comers to AWI, like he did with
A!!CT. He wasted his time and money as I see it and no one cares anyways, so
why should he put anymore into it?
So this time you are wrong and some time this week, all the citizenships
charged to MrBruce monthly (all 25 of them) will get a notice that their
citizenships will expire if they fail to pick up the tab, because MrBruce
refuses to pay for them anymore and I do not blame him!

I for one, did not know of AWI leaving you out in NL or deleting your
world of the month votes. If you spend that kind of money at a place based
on the computer for something added in 10 seconds easily, and you are not
given credit and put down by the company you pay out to...then i cannot
blame you for leaving. A!!CT is a nice world without the credit it deserves.
Before you let everyone wreak havok on it, save all of the settings and land
as you never know, AWI might get smart. Once they notice a 5000/year drop in
their profits, i think they might rethink their situation.

Honestly, you helped AW stay alive for a bit longer before it plunges
into nowhere with its raise prices, and lowering usercounts. Not only that,
but A!!CT was a Star Trek themed world and im a Star Trek fan...if you think
A!!CT should stay alive, then MrBruce should open a place for people to
contribute to a renewal. I know i'd donate atleast $100. If you had asked me
last week if i would have, then it would have been no, but after hearing
about how hes been treated here, i can see how i have made an error.

Just to clear some confusion up, my complaint was why was a certain persons
world advertised in the universe immigration officer for their halloween
bash?
This ruined our event which was given little of no recogonition at all!!
If for what I spend here on Activeworlds does not warrant me any special
rights it should not warrrant them any rights either!!
I have nothing against the world owner who got the special universe
announcement Halloween day, But as I said my money is real too!!!

Amen!! I believe you have contributed a great deal in the last 2 years.
ANd for anyone who reads this--olny one other time was A!!CT in threat of
closing, and it was this time last year. Thanks to great people who gave
the money to keep it open another year, was the ONLY reason it's here today!

I have built in and worked for A!!CT from it's humble beginnings. I agree
that it is what AW could only aspire to become.

If Bruce ends up leaving, it will be a sad day in AW. You will be missed.
