Lotto? (General Discussion)
Lotto? // General Discussion
Sep 1, 2003, 5:29pm
Hey...anyone know who this Lotto person is by any chance?:)
Sep 1, 2003, 11:00pm
I don't think anybody really knows "who" Lotto really is. All I know is that
he is a jerk to anybody unlucky enough to receive a telegram from him. (Not
even sure its a "he"). Poor Weebo lost his PK cus of Lotto, the very same
night Lotto gave someone in bingo a hard time in whispers and the bingo host
(who wasn't Weebo by the way) had to eject him. I have yet to hear from
anybody that Lotto is a nice person. If you like, I can gram you with copies
of the grams he sent me. Might surprise you to find out he doesn't care how
old someone is. According to what he told me in gram.... " if the
person/kid is "hot", who cares?". Disturbing. 0_0

Thanks Lioness.:)
I don't know who Lotto is either, but I can guarentee you that if he is
approaching young children, authorities will be notified.
I read the thread Weebo posted earlier, and was a bit shocked until I
personally witnessed Lotto harassing him. Now I understand Weebo's need to
release.
Lotto, if your'e reading this, please note that people are watching you.
I'm not talking about PK's or GK's or even AWI. I am talking about the
Community. Mothers, Fathers, Aunts, Uncles, Friends, etc.
I am currently gathering complaints regarding you, and will make sure
authorities are notified, should they all look like a legitimate concern.
Lotto, you never know if you are talking to a child or an adult do
you?:)
Parents beware on this one:(
Bit:)

Actually... I'd have to agree with him on that point. Age doesn't matter.
I also have to say that I have heard that he is mean though... from other
people besides weebo. Never had any first hand experience.

Someones been having a couple of *impersonates someone drinking a cup*
Sep 3, 2003, 5:20pm
isn't it an often occurance to read about someone who's become sinner for
some of the community's anger here on the newsgroup ?
I'm not writing this to be provocative or protective of someone nor to
choose side in a flaming, though some might think/hope/perceive it like so,
but consider that my experiences with Lotto has been only good (though few,
as I tend to keep to myself), so I figure maybe it's all in the approach...
cause else I don't know how I've avoided Lotto decisively saying things
opposite of my opinion.... perchance to dig up a raw discussion even ?

some serious help. You want some chat logs or a copy of grams?? They make
interesting reading, but you need to be over the age of 21, so I need to see
some ID lol. oh and they are not for the squeamish.5^'s Weebo again for

Thank goodness. But what about what happened to Weebo when he tried to do
his job??? Due to circumstances with Lotto, Weebo not only is no longer a
PK, but was frustrated and disgusted with the unfairness of it all and gave
away a bunch of cit accts and his world too. I think Weebo is overdue for an
apology from some people. Dunno if Weebo would accept his PK
responsibilities back again after the way he was treated, but it SHOULD at
least be offered back to him. It might be a different matter if PK were a
paid job. But it is voluntary. One is aware when applying that there are
moments that one will run into problems. However if one is doing what they
should, one shouldn't be treated like the way Weebo was treated. The guy
lost sleep over all this. Not to mention days and nights of worrying about
it and feeling like he was the one being punished. And all the anger he felt
and the feeling of being deserted by his peers. I think the PK's should have
supported him better and perhaps a series of group meetings should have
taken place, right away. Not wait for a few weeks. I"m sure Lotto isn't the
only person like this to cause problems for the PK's. Nor will he be the
last. I'm afraid that if things don't improve soon, you'll find more PK's
leaving out of frustration and then you'll find nobody wants the job.

which all relates back to who is running the program....or not running it as it were...AWI has way to much of a "hands off" policy with these "volunteer groups"...... they let someone they think is responsible take control of people that have their hearts in it not their EGO's It makes for a lot of frustraitions.
And since when is typeing anything with a .exe on it at the gate "unacceptable language"? sheeesh get your shit together AWI. I am really tired of half assed solutions to real problems. Get some people working there that have brains and do actually use them. If your gonna eject someone for putting .exe in the post at least tell them that....my god how lame. BB,
As someone who knows you, I would like to say that you would NOT put up a
..EXE that would be harmful. Unfortanly the problem lies in area of CA (been
told recently she now auto ejects for that) personally, I believe it should
still be up to the GateKeepers discretion. After all, most of the time you
can tell by how the person acts and the conversation surrounding it whether
it will be a harmful .EXE or not.
BTW, IF it happens again to you and I'm bold, please don't yell at me, I
DIDN'T do it!
Lioness,
I agree totally! I'm glad to see that he is back at least in the univ.
Hopefully those who need apologize do so.

I had a few problems with lotto in the past..then weebo started ranting
about him here and he needed help setting up the NGs..I told him how and tho
he's still kinda sarcastic he's not half as nasty to me as he used to
me...he's more of the opinionated type like Eep in my opinion. (btw, I do
believe he is 16 or so)

Trishia;
I do not ever blame the GK's for a BOT policy...:) I know very well how this is all done and the lamers in charge need to pay attention to it. It has always amazed me how easy it is for the controlling people in a company to just "forget" about parts of that business, and think the problems will just go away. This part of the business is call "PR", Public Relations.
my 2 cents
Leo :)
BTW I gave NO URL to an exe just the name of the EXE.... go figure.....
