Protecting Children (Wishlist)
Protecting Children // Wishlist
Jul 16, 2000, 11:25pm
I'm not a parent, but the ones I know seem to think that their children are
human and have a natural right to act as such as long as it doesn't bother
anybody else. They encourage some behaviors and discourage others. The
parents and children cooperate with each other, they aren't
jailor--prisoner.
As it stands, the adult setting serves as the "adult content" sign. Having
the "adult" worlds listed notes them as normal, as some "adults" consider
"adult" content.
On the other hand, I have no problem with adding password protection as long
as you have to check sompm to activate it. (I just love checkboxes)

Where can you see the date of a post someone replies to?

Don't know how you do it in Outlame, but if you view posts by thread,
you can see which posts the person is replying to. You would also have
to download *all* headers in the newsgroup.

You have to reset the newsgroup and make sure you download all headers. So, pretty
much just reset.
