I just went into Broadway world to check out the ball drop. Everyone was
there. Then I get that random whisper after saying hi.

idea what TaLLan wishes to tear down, though.

Seems that TaLLan (GKDJ when he's a GK) is getting the ETLs involved for an
unknown reason. TaLLan is sure sending out a good message. Is this the
type of person that is allowed in the GK organization?

I'm not saying he wasn't wrong, lol If he swore at him for NO reason then
yeah he is wrong. I only know what i saw in the pictures so i can't really
say that he isn't wrong.

Two things ...

1) We only see grams from TaLLan, and have no way of knowing what your
correspondence was, if you provoked him, and how. Not fair to post a one way
convo ... he is obviously replying to things you have said or grammed to
him.

2) Why bring up he's a GK? The grams are clearly not from GKDJ ... so what
do they have anything to do with him as a GK? Like all GKs, he volunteers
his time for some two hours a week ... doesn't make him God or anything, and
certainly has nothing to do with who he is *off shift*. Why is it some
people think GKs should be on their best behavior 24/7/365? Makes no sense
whatsoever! No one is in a good mood all the time, we all have bad days or
times when people provoke us to not so pleasant actions.

If he's bothering you then use aw's most wonderful *mute* feature! Bar him
from contacting you every way you can and you'll not hear from him again.

Well, Lady Nighthawk, in reply to number 1, I encourage TaLLan to post what
I said to him that day, in these NGs, in order. Also, there's no way of
proving that I said anything to TaLLan, since I can't screenshot my own
telegrams, so that will be up to TaLLan, if he wants to be fair about it, to
post what I said. The only telegram that could be considered "provoking"
was the last telegram I sent to TaLLan, which was something regarding his
maturity saying such things to me. TaLLan, please, post what I said to you
that day in these NGs. Screenshots would be good.

In response to your second thing. TaLLan is a GK. Though he was not acting
as a GK, it was just noteable that someone acting as such would be allowed
in the GK organization. I recall someone being kicked off the PK
organization because he was conducting some minor griefing, if you would
even call it that. (I will not give the name of the person. He may gladly
post here if he wishes to reveal himself.) Anyway, it seems that the GK
organization, as such, is much more lenient in who they allow to join.
Don't you think it's important to have a strict filter on who you allow to
join an organization which represents all of Active Worlds from the
newcomer's perspective? I think so.

At least Gatekeepers really need to have an Internal Affairs bureau to

Only while the GK is on duty, otherwise most have a separate *private* ID to
*work* in and the two should not be associated imho.

So.... what you are saying is...

They should hide behind a mask so when they make mistakes they are not held
responsable, lets take into account the hundred or so GK abuse reports that
get sent in each year... How many GK's have we seen dismissed due to huge
abuse of rights? Zero.

If people use rights in AW, they should be held accountable for them, hell I
am when im on PS in AWTeen, everyone else is, the peacekeepers are, why not
GK's? Could it be because they make bad descisions.

To summarize that whole post, Tallan has a grudge against SW City (which he
refuses to tell us why). He's taken his grudge into his GK duty and had
ejected anybody affiliated with SW City or those who use the forums - no
breaking any rules required. He was pretty much ejected people on site,
some never even spoke a word. I think that includes 12 people up to this
point.
He's not the only one, as this morning some other GKs, I assume his friends,
did the same thing. The GK organize is corrupt =\
We're doing everything we can to get some justice regarding this abuse
though, and a whole heap of abuse reports have been filed already by many
people.

It better not be ignored this time -_- Also in reply to Nighthawk's post,
TaLLan was using the same cit during GK as he was outside of duty. And,
yes, even if he did use his GKDJ cit, he should be associated with other
actions. Just because it's a different cit doesn't mean that the same
person should be dismissed.
