I'm saying many people have more than one cit. I'm also saying that if you
(for instance) came on aw with another cit most would likely not know. If
you have a problem with any person then contact AWI, I'm sure
support at activeworlds.com will do it? Report the Nick, and the Cit # when you
send your complaint, so if the person changes their name they can still be
found. No masking involved here ...

I already have reported it. I'm satisfied with the response that I got.

I hold a vote of no confidence in the Gate Keeper organisation.

Obviously they have lost all discipline and sense of duty. Their primary job
is to interact with users to the Gate in order that AW is promoted to new
users. A new user will be put off from joining up if they see customers are
ejected for no reasons. Secondly, many new citizens - such as myself, are
worried that the duty of promoting and looking after this key location has
been handed over to a gorup of users who are lacking a good sense of
judgement.

As a new user, I am irritated that paying customers have been ejected on
illegal grounds.

AWI should either intervene and ensure that discipline is put in place - or
completley remove GateKeepers from their position.

"quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" - "who will guard the guards?"

aren't you guys abit old to be doing that whole online "dating" thing? :P
ya though, just gotta say, even though i don't know them all too well, from
what i've seen so far, they're all nice people. My guess is the whole Tallan
thing is just a misunderstanding, which doesn't belong in the NGs in the
first place...

THEY? There are many fine GK's who follow the guidelines and enjoy doing
their job
with objectivity and desire to help the new user settle in. Jumping on the
band wagon to
make generalizations about the entire group is not fair, nor is it helpful.
However, if you
have a specific experience or example, THEN let's hear it and please report
it - as do I.

Also, please be sure you know of what you speak. Ejection guidelines are
not
always the same between organizations - and having a behind the scenes
understanding
of some of the "illegal" ejections mentioned in this thread , I can with
confidence say they
were perfectly warranted and legal. I do not buy into the "Tallan has other
GK Ejection Allies"
conspiracy theory.

I have been receiving a lot of flak about an ejection by people who are
simply jumping on the
bandwagon and don't investigate the details before they all of a sudden
become an expert and
voice their opinion. The log speaks for itself and is submitted after each
eject........and
I sleep very well at night. I find it a bit amusing and ironic that some
of the same people
who are screaming for objectivity on the part of the GK's, are in fact make
statements like - if you eject
me than you are not my friend.( I'm here singin' like Tina *What's Friends
got to do with it?*) ....or....
"he has been a long time citizen and is a very respectable person".....ummm
maybe so, but have you
seen the Million $ Madam's lil black book? Yes we need improvement but
there are many on board who
really care and will continually work towards that.

Sorry for the long post, but i believe we all need to be productive in our
resolution of these and all
problems.

At least you know someone who can post your bail."
